This was our first outing with a Van, "trying before buying" . The Solis really exceeded our expectations in terms of room and functionality. We had 4 really great days visiting friends, campgrounds and vinyards around the Yadkin Valley. The hosts take great care of the vehicle and we had zero issues. They are also very responsive to questions you may have as well. Highly recommend this van and we cannot wait to take it out again.

We had a wonderful 2-night camper van trip to Asheville, NC in the Winnebago Solis. The host was excellent throughout the entire experience—very responsive, communicated clearly, and answered all of our questions promptly. We also really appreciated the host’s flexibility in providing the van well ahead of our scheduled booking start time, which made our trip much easier and more convenient. The check-in and checkout processes were both smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely recommend this host and the Winnebago Solis to anyone planning a camper van adventure. We would happily rent from this host again!

Easy to drive. Comfortable bed. Plenty of room for me my wife and dog. Drove from NC to the Upper peninsula in Michigan with plenty of sightseeing stops along the way. Fit’s into normal car parking spaces yet has all of the conveniences of an RV and better than a hotel.

The vehicle was exactly as described (and helpfully explained in a Youtube video). Everything worked great. We really enjoyed our two days at a campground with family. It was a great base for us and we even slept unusually soundly.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Pick up and drop off is dependent on our availability, as well. We will accommodate the best we can within our own work schedule and person responsibilities. There is an option to where the vehicle can be scheduled for a certain day and be picked up the night before, usually sometime after 5:30 PM, with prior discussion and approval.

Q.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

A.

To ensure you have a full battery at night the power to the cabin is best to be shut off, so as to not drain the battery. The cabinet above the sink tends to open during uneven terrain or bouncy roads, if it is filled too much with supplies and will trigger the latch.
