3.0The RV should not have been allowed to go out. it had a cracked windshield and one of the back stabilizers was not working, causing the RV to be on a slant every time the slide was extended. When stopping for gas, the engine would not restart for at least 30 minutes. Did not happen each time, but did happen 3 times. Hot water system quit working about 1/3 into trip. Water would not come out of hot water spickets, so we could not take showers. Some camps we were at had showers, so we took some, but others did not. This RV when fixed, would be fine for weekend trips, but not for a extended trip where you are moving around for a 10 day trip.

5.0I rented Craig’s Class C Thor Freedom Elite for a 10-day road trip through the South with my two Swiss Mountain Dogs, Dorothy and Lila. I had driven my truck from New Hampshire to Asheville. Craig was accommodating and let me leave my truck at his place. He gave me a walkthrough of the camper and went over everything before I hit the road. The camper itself was fantastic. At 24 feet, it was super manageable to drive. I never felt out of my element, even with limited RV experience. It’s the perfect size for a couple or, in my case, one person and two big dogs. It drove well, and setup was easy. We only stayed a night or two at each stop, so by the end of the trip, I was a pro at setting up and breaking down. Communication with Craig was good before, during, and after the trip. A couple of minor things came up (replacing a wiper and refilled DEF fluid), and Craig reimbursed me for both without any issues. After ten days in the trailer, the dogs and I had left a few minor marks and scrapes and Craig didn't make an issue out of it, something I'd been worried about along the way. I visited friends across South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, and the whole experience was great from start to finish. Seems like a great family with a solid setup — wishing them all the best! I’d definitely rent from Craig again.
