Meet your host, Crystal

Hello!
I live a sweet life with my family in Southern Oregon. We love travel and adventure and outdoor activities. Over the past few years with limited travel abroad, we decided an Airstream would be a great way to explore more of our beautiful region.
We'd be delighted to share our cherished family Airstream, Luna, with you for your next adventure!

We had a wonderful experience with our host Crystal and her Airstream "Luna". Crystal went out of her way to coordinate delivery and walked us through the entire vehicle and the on-board systems. Everything was in working order, clean and Luna was well equipped for our 3 day adventure to Crater Lake N.P.

The experience was disappointing because we had hoped for more function from the camper off the grid. We were at a remote camp site for 4 nights with no electrical hookups but we still should have had some low voltage lights and other amenities if the battery weren't in such bad shape. It was supposed to fully charge while towing the camper using the tow vehicle's alternator but it never got higher than 13.5%. The owner led us to believe during our 1 hour orientation that we would have full low voltage function off the grid. In my opinion, she needs to buy 2 new 12V batteries and wire them in parallel. Then, a frugal user could have LED lights in the camper at night and run the propane furnace which requires low voltage electricity to blow air. Having said all of this, it was a cozy shelter from bugs and the rain and we were able to use the toilet if we needed to pee at night rather than hiking to the campsite's spider filled bathroom facilities. We were happy to have that much function and we just had to use head torches for light in the camper.
