Amazing Airstream Experience at Lake Travis

Travel trailerAustin, TX
Sleeps 10
34 ft. long
Pet friendly

Hi, I am John Hazlewood and I would like to share this Airstream with you and give you the perfect chance of truly experiencing its beauty.
Spend the night at this fabulous Airstream & Van and come enjoy the beauty of Lake Travis. Each year, thousands of families and groups come west of Austin to enjoy the picturesque scenery and inviting clear waters of Lake Travis. More and more are discovering that Windy Point Park is a great place to picnic, swim or just relax and enjoy the beautiful lake setting, without the crowds. You will have a truly unforgettable experience camping here.
This charming Airstream is a 1997 Excella 1000 travel trailer. Comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, Queen bed, fold out couch for 2 extra guests, cozy interior, and all the other necessary features will make you feel right at home. Solar panels will provide enough electricity to power most of your devices, propane powers the fridge and freezer and for anything else, the generator can do the rest. The Airstream is towed by a 2015 Chevrolet Express Van, which you can use to drive this amazing home around the city or any location you want to spend the night at. This travel trailer is not tied to any specific location, but moves around wherever the guests want to stay! Please note that if you want to take the Airstream for a drive there is additional $250 fee. We can also move the Airstream to the location of your choice before check-in, for additional transportation costs. If you are planning on driving the van, you must have experience driving a travel trailer or similar vehicle. Each renter must have temporary insurance coverage from their automobile insurance provider. Renters should contact their insurance agent and ask for temporary coverage. This is sometimes called an “Insurance binder” or “Insurance Certificate”. This simply extends the renter’s full coverage insurance while they operate the rented travel trailer and van.
Renters need to add John Hazlewood to the policy as a “Loss Payee” and “Additional Insured”. The renter’s insurance policy must be full coverage and include comprehensive, collision, and liability. Any deductibles should not exceed $500. The insurance must cover both the travel trailer and the van.
Guests also have access to 4 tents (without sleeping bags) each of which can accommodate 4 additional guests. If you use the tents, you will have to put them up and take them up after you are done. There is an additional park entry fee which is around $15 for 24 hours per person, you can check the park website or call for more info. The fee is paid directly to the park and you can pick up the keys at the park`s office.
Have fun and enjoy.
Convenient to Austin, Windy Point Park is also a fun destination campground. Tent camping is primitive style and basic, but the groomed lawn and abundant shade from the trees help to make it feel civilized. Changing facilities, clean portable restrooms and outdoor heated showers are available for your comfort.Whether picnicking till sunset or camping overnight, Windy Point Park is a great place to rediscover some peace of mind. The Airstream is family friendly. Pets are also allowed. However, no smoking inside and please keep the Airstream as clean and tidy as possible.
