Michael Boldton is a 2020 Winnebago Boldt KL - not to be confused with the Boldt BL which has a slightly different floorplan. Like the Travato KL and Boldt BL, the Boldt KL has a large lithium battery in lieu of a loud generator. That means you can boondock just about anywhere - you don't have to run a loud generator or plugin to run the A/C or microwave. The interior is well laid out with lots of space compared to other class b's (Check out the Lichtsinn youtube channel to see what i mean - they have a thorough walkthru on the Boldt KL).A few things to keep in mind:
- Insurance and website fees are additional costs not included in the daily rate - to get a total cost, you can proceed through the checkout process or request a quote.
- 75 miles/day are included in the rental. Additional miles are charged at $0.50/mile.
- I offer delivery at $3/mile.
- The RV comes with a full fuel tank and empty waste tanks. If you return the RV the same way, there are no additional other than for excess miles and damage. Otherwise, it's $2.75/gallon for fuel and $35 to dump the tanks. I'll show you how to dump the tanks when I hand off the RV.
- Pickup is at 1PM (or later) and dropoff at 10AM (or earlier). Pickup earlier than 1PM or dropoff later than 10AM will incur a fee ($25/hr) because it will throw off bookings occurring the same day.Fixes IN Progress:
- the running board was damaged recently and getting a replacement may take up to 2 months. Still trying to decide whether I will either have one constructed, continue to try to find an aftermarket replacement or leave it off until a new one comes in.
- On 6/10, just before a rental, I discovered that the awning would not deploy. I believe the motor may need to be replaced but will not know for sure until I get it back on 6/16. Likely the fix will be simple and quick, but there is a chance that a part may be needed that is backordered for weeks. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message.
