So while we still consider this an Arizona camping location, some campgrounds and places to camp are actually in Utah. There are campgrounds, RV parks, as well as dispersed camping locations.

The Grand Canyon is one of the most beautiful places to camp in all of Arizona. There are so many great views and scenery to enjoy as well as wildlife to see. There are multiple campgrounds at The Grand Canyon, which are good for both tent camping and RV camping. Additionally, dispersed or backcountry camping is also allowed with a permit.

Toroweap/Tuweep campground is a great place to camp on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Not far from the campground is Toroweap overlook, which will provide you with a dramatic view of the Grand Canyon from the edge of a sheer drop off.

Jacob Lake campground is a nice campground that gives you easy access to the Grand Canyon without the crowds. This campground also offers quick access to hiking and biking trails as well as lots of opportunities for wildlife sightings. The campground sits amongst tall ponderosa pines and often has relatively comfortable temperatures during the summer.

Wahweap campground is a great campground right on Lake Powell. This campground is perfect for those who want to spend some time on the lake as well as camp on the lake. The campground has 139 campsites with full RV hookups as well as 39 tent only sites.

Buffalo Crossing campground is situated on the banks of the Black River. This campground has 16 sites that can accommodate RVs up to 32’ long. These are the largest campsite along the Black River and offer ample room for families and larger groups.

Big Lake Recreation Area is one of the best places to camp in Arizona. There are 9 separate campgrounds located around Big Lake. The area is wooded with aspen trees mingled in amongst the ponderosa pines. It can be cold during the winter but the summer tends to have pleasant weather.

Coon Bluff is the closest campground to Mesa and Phoenix. The campground is only about a 20 min drive outside of Mesa. This is a great location for families to go camping but don’t want to drive very far. Situated on the Salt River, this campground is great for fishing, birding, and enjoying the outdoors.

This campground is a haven for those who love to explore and enjoy desert vegetation and wildlife.

Bob Springs Campground is a small quiet campground with paved access all the way to the campsites. This is a good campground for all types of campers in any type of vehicle. This campground is a little smaller but can still accommodate RVs and trailers up to 22’.

Tombstone RV Park is a great option for RV campers who are looking to experience the wonder of the old west as well as stay in a very nice park with lots of amenities. There are fees associated with staying in the RV park, but the park does offer easy to lots of great activities and sites in the local area.

Other things to note

Teardrop campers are ideal for people that want straightforward amenities when they travel. They are also a great choice for camping at state and national parks.

That is because campsites there are often not that big or do not have as much room to maneuver, if you were towing a large RV, you would have a harder time backing into a space, but that is no problem for a Teardrop camper.

When looking for your next adventure – whether it be sightseeing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, or biking, a Teardrop trailer would be a great choice.

Teardrops are great for first-time rentals.

We will walk you through the Teardrop camper and answer any questions you may have on towing, brake controller, parking, or your 7-way.

We want you to feel at ease the whole time.

You will always be able to get ahold of a live person.

Towing
Many cars and most SUVs can tow this ultra-lightweight (1200 lbs) trailer
Towing requires a 2 in ball and a 7-way round connector.

GREAT TRIP! Would do it over and over again and the camper really made it special. The Owner made sure we were fully prepared and well stocked for an easy trip. He was quick and professional with preparation and communication. The inside was very cozy and the overhead fan kept us cool without using the A/C. We were nervous about the space for two people, but we slept comfortably. The patio set up made for a great ambiance to go with cooking dinner using the attached kitchen. The extra dishes and lights really helped make is hassle free. Great value and service here!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.Can someone else pick up the RV rental for me?
A.
No. Only you and people named on your Rental Agreement can pick up a camper. The person who picks up the camper also needs a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance for the tow vehicle.

Q.What happens if something gets broken on the camper during my rental?
A.
We understand that things happen when camping. If we need to replace something damaged, we only charge you what we paid for the part and repairs (there is no markup). Our goal is simply to keep our teardrop campers in the like-new condition they are in and keep them available for guests.
