Shelby is our beloved 4WD 2023 TRD Off-Road Toyota Tacoma outfitted with an Alu-Cab hard body aluminum Contour Canopy. Alu-Cab is a South African based company that makes some of the most capable overland gear on the market.If you want an off-road capable, 4-wheel drive, rugged, and reliable overland rig then this is the rental for you! This rig is ideal for couples, or solo travelers looking to experience the great outdoors. Shelby has been carefully built out with the intention of being completely self-sufficient and self-reliant no matter where the road takes you. Everything on this rig has been thought out and hand crafted to make it as easy as possible for you to use so you can maximize your time enjoying the great outdoors.The hard body aluminum contour canopy came as a shell and with that we outfitted it with: lighting with dimmers so you will always be able to see no matter the time of day or night, outlets to charge your devices, insulation to keep it cooler at night, window covers to keep it dark, a metal security screen on the back window, and an adjustable window fan for those hot Montana nights.In addition to that we built a custom drawer system which is equipped with a fully decked out kitchen with ease of use in mind. The kitchen includes a stove, wood cutting board, collapsible sink, countertop space, knives, spices, paper towels, pots, pans, and cooking utensils: everything you would need to cook a 5-course meal in the back country. The drawer system also includes storage for camping chairs, a hammock, an extra blanket, and space for you to keep any of your personal belongings. To go along with the kitchen, there is a 55-quart Iceco fridge/freezer in the cab of the truck to store any food and drinks.On top of the drawer system, you will find the bed platform that has been fitted with a 4" Hest memory foam mattress that matches the exact truck bed dimensions. We also will be providing Hest sheets, a 8'x8' down blanket, a 8'x8' sherpa fleece blanket, and four Klymit memory foam pillows! It's one of the most comfortable bed set ups you'll find in a Tacoma!We also built out a back seat platform for luggage, the Bluetti solar power bank, and the Iceco fridge/freezer so all of those things are easily accessible while you’re inside the cab.On the side of the contour canopy, you will find a 10-gallon propane tank and 4 gallons of fresh water. Where the stove is located you will find an 8 ft long propane hose that hooks directly up to the propane tank mounted on the side of the contour canopy. There is also a spigot that can be attached to one of the RotopaX water containers for quick water refills.Shelby is hand washed and detailed after every trip by a local detailing company, so she’ll be as good as new for you guaranteed! The views are spectacular, start to finish.Some of the local favorites are Hyalite, and Fairy Lake. Hyalite has loads of trails and is a perfect place for kayaking or paddle boarding. Fairy lake is beautiful and it's the perfect place for a day trip. Both have amazing camping spots!

Shelby can always be picked up earlier or later as long as we're notified in advance. We also allow pickup and drop off at the Yellowstone International Airport to make it more convenient for you.
