Responsive, helpful, and flexible

Caitlin (and Kate) are consistently praised for being quick to respond, accommodating, helpful, and easy to work with. However, one booking was canceled by the host 3 days before departure.

Easy to drive, well-equipped

Reviewers found it easy to drive, even for first-timers, and well-equipped with comfortable beds, a bright interior, and all camping essentials. Note it's an older model with some wear, potential for fragile parts, and occasional missing hookup items.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience renting this RV and would absolutely rent it again in a heartbeat! The Rig & Performance: The RV was incredibly easy to handle and drove beautifully. Inside, the layout was perfect for our family, including our 2-year-old. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and both the AC and heating systems worked flawlessly to keep us comfortable throughout the trip. When it came to maintenance, emptying the grey and black water tanks was simple and hassle-free. Cleanliness & Amenities: The RV was absolutely spotless and smelled clean the moment we stepped inside. It came fully loaded with all the essentials you could need - towels, outdoor chairs, an outdoor rug, grill, and a perfectly stocked kitchen complete with pots, pans, and silverware. It made packing so much easier knowing the important extras were already taken care of. The Host: The host was fantastic! Communication was seamless from start to finish. They gave us a thorough, incredibly helpful walkthrough and provided an easy-to-follow guide on how to operate everything. Whenever we had a quick question during our trip, they were highly responsive and eager to help. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped rig with a top-notch host, look no further. Highly recommended!

The RV is very cozy with everything you will need. There was a manual and everything was explained very well. We (5 persons) used it for some camping in Big Sur and really had a great time. With that said, it was a little fragile around the edges. We attempted to pick up the table to set a bed and somehow managed to break one of the metal legs of the table. This was assessed a fee out of the security deposit. Even though it was a fairly benign maneuver and something that had been explained well, somehow it still broke. Therefore, as older models go - just be prepared that things may break and those will be charged to you, even if you're being careful.

Went on our annual family camping trip with the Rainbow RV and had a good time! She’s definitely got some miles, a bit dirty and wear and tear on her (we were taking her camping so it wasn’t too big of a deal) but we were able to go up the coast just fine. Had some hiccups with missing pieces for the hookups but nothing a quick run to the store couldn’t fix. She’s comfy and cozy and Kate/Caitlin were responsive and flexible hosts.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

We are usually able to be quite flexible as to pick up and drop off if you give us a good heads up.

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

The electricity is a simple plug, the water is a spot you screw a provided hose into and the sewage dump takes a few steps. We go over all of these things when you pick her up.

Q.

What’s provided?

A.

Please read the posting to see what’s provided! And look at the photos to see as well. We provide TP and bedding and towels. She is also stocked with dish wear. Cook inside or use the bbq to cook outside.

Hi family of three here plus a shaggy dog named Blue! We are excited about sharing our RV! We just drove across the county this past year to get to know our rig better and had sooooo much fun! Looking forward to giving other folks a feel for the RV life!!
