2017 R-Pod Hood River Edition
This 2017 R-Pod trailer is a super-easy way to enjoy camping with all the creature comforts and none of the hassle. It's comfortable and easy to tow around as well as quick to set up and tear down at camp. We've added memory foam toppers for the beds, and it also has a hammock, propane grill, collapsible awning and even a fire grate if you want to cook over you campfire.
Speaking of cooking, you're not at all limited as to what you can make in the kitchen. It has a two-burner propane stove and a microwave that is also a convection oven. So if you want to roast a chicken or just heat something up quickly, you're covered. It also has a dual source heating and air conditioning system, so you can run off electric or propane depending on where you find yourself. It even has a TV and DVD player for those unexpected rainy days.
The R-Pod also has indoor and outdoor showers, so if you like to go play in the mud you can rinse off outside and keep the mess to a minimum, as well as plenty of storage underneath for you adventure gear. It's just the easiest and most comfortable way for a couple or small family to enjoy a camping trip without having to rough-it in any way. We absolutely love it, and we hope you will as well! What's includedThe camper comes stocked with fresh linens and towels, dishes and cups for all kinds of camp meals, including some fancy stemless wine cups that really come in handy. It also has camp chairs, propane grill, campfire cooking grate, pop-up awning, and two-person hammock.
A generator is available to add on for more primitive camp sites.RecommendationsMontana certainly has no shortage of awesome camping spots. Just in our neighborhood near Big Sky you can camp along a river at Red Cliffs campground, at many primitive sites in the Taylor's Fork recreation area, or at Cliff and Wade State Park, which features some of the most beautiful lakes in Montana. And if you're lucky enough to score a spot in Yellowstone Park we are only about a 45 minute drive to the West entrance. Other things to noteThe tongue on this trailer is quite high at about 20 inches off the ground for level. Because of this if the top of the receiver on your vehicle is less than 15 inches you may want to bring a special ball hitch that has adjustable height. This camper also has trailer brakes, so it requires a six pin electric hookup on your vehicle. Most trucks have this standard, but some SUV’s and most cars do not. If you have the basic 4 pin electric hookup like you use with a U-Haul trailer it won’t work.

The R-Pod was in great shape and exactly what we were looking for. The owner, Don, was very conscientious and easy to work with. He made the whole pickup and drop off experience easy. Thanks!
