Boise's Modern Hotel is mobile! We’ve got new, beautiful RV’s, stocked and ready for your next adventure. The Modern RV’s come stocked with everything you need because we want you to savor every last minute of your time on the road. We provide linens, cookware, camp furniture, bathroom amenities, and more. When you’re done, return the rig and we’ll take care of filling up the gas tank, cleaning, waste, and maintenance.

Many accidents are caused by simple forgetfulness: leaving doors unlatched, awnings up or steps attached. Create a step-by-step checklist and conduct a "walk-around" visual inspection before embarking on a trip.
A pre-departure checklist:
• Double-check the tow bar and safety cables
• Retract jacks, steps, and awnings
• Look under the rig for signs of fluid leaks
• Check oil, transmission and coolant levels
• Check air brakes, parking brake and tow brakes
• Make sure stove, oven and heater burners are not lit
• Check the propane tank for leaks and intake/exhaust lines for blockages
• Inspect tire inflation pressure and tread wear
• Make sure smoke and propane leak detectors are working
• Check your surroundings (weather, overhangs and ground hazards)
• Make sure bay doors are closed and latched
• Disconnect all power, TV, phone, water and sewer lines

Ericka is a top-tier Outdoorsy Host, and as fellow hosts, we learned a lot from her. You can rent with confidence — the van is awesome and Ericka will take great care of you and your trip. Also highly (highly) recommend a night at the hotel and the Thai Red Curry from the restaurant.

Working with Erika was a dream. She was very informative, quick to communicate, and fun to work with as she's a very positive person. Our experiment with #vanlife went so well that we decided to try out the lifestyle for a year and rent our home. Vinnie took us up to Lewiston, over to Missoula (while stopping a couple of nights near the Hiawatha Trail), and then back home over the Lolo Pass. Vinnie had to work on some of the hills but always cleared the summit. He was well stocked with everything we needed to cook, clean up, and enjoy sitting outside and grilling. A couple of nights got pretty cold and the heater kicked in quickly and warmed us right up. The toilet was great at night but we never did use the shower as we were always near a river or creek. Opening up the windows to our view each morning was the icing on the cake. To wake up in such beauty was phenomenal. We traveled with our cat, Percy, and she was able to find a couple of different hideout holes to feel contained while we drove. Thank you, Vinnie and Erika, for a great week!

The host was very friendly and accommodating with picking up and dropping off Vinnie. When we experienced difficulties with the hot water system (ended up being a valve in an incorrect position) she was on top of trying to get it resolved. Vinnie had everything that we needed for a long and relaxing 2 weeks of adventure.

This was our first time using Outdoorsy and I can't imagine a better experience! The Vinnie was an incredible way to get out and explore Idaho – we felt like we could go absolutely anywhere and be comfortable (and stylish). Erika was a wonderful host that prepared us well and was always extraordinarily responsive. We can't wait to get back in the Vinnie!
