My greatest passions are adventuring in the wild and cooking up some delicious food! That's what I had in mind when I built out my van - equipped for lots of off-grid adventures and amazing in-van meals, I am fully in love with my van. I've seen so many builds, but I can't help but like mine the most - maybe I am biased!
I built the van out after living solo in a yurt on 80 acres of land in southwest Colorado during the heat of the COVID lockdown. The solitude and wild nature of the yurt inspired me to finally pull the trigger on van life. It's better to have tried and failed than to have not tried at all! I haven't looked back.
I have taken my van all over the country, working a full-time job fully remote. I am based in Boulder, Colorado and love to mountain bike, ski in and out of bounds, gravel ride, boulder, trail run and have a beer around a camp fire with friends. I work in the natural products industry for an e-commerce retailer, and when I am not working or adventuring, I am reading, watching comedy, meditating, cooking and and dreaming up my next adventure.
