Review summary
Highly communicative and supportive
The host consistently communicated well, responded promptly to questions, and was very helpful, even assisting with a flat tire. They made pick-up/drop-off easy and provided detailed instructions.
Ford Transit easy to drive
Falkor is an easy-to-drive Ford Transit campervan, praised for its effective off-grid AC, comfortable bed, and hot showers. While functional and customized, some guests noted exterior blemishes, an interior conversion that lacked professional polish, and a portable, not built-in, stove. The ride may not be smooth for longer trips.

5.0Using this van helped us feel more comfortable with the idea of purchasing our own. Loved living off the grid for a week! Would most definitely do it again.

4.05 stars for customer service. I had flat tire on my second day and the owners were prompt and helpful in getting me back on the road ASAP. In my opinion, after driving this van for a lot of miles over more than a week, this van is ideal for shorter trips and camping trips where you are pretty much staying in place for a few days. Whether this is due to the age of the vehicle or that this is a utility van conversion rather than a unit designed as an RV at the outset, I’m not sure - but the ride is not as smooth as I’ve experienced in newer RV built units. The listing shows it has a “stove range”; this is not a built in stovetop (as I had expected) but really a portable propane camping stove that (once set up) I was not comfortable using Inside the van. The cabin A/C and refrigerator unit both work well. Also, for electric hookup, a 30amp adapter is provided with the van, but I had one campground that only had 50amp service. Fortunately they were able to lend me an adapter. Re: Outdoorsy - I made the mistake of calling my personal insurance for the tow as I didn't bring printed Outdoorsy insurance info with me and I was having issues with the app. When I now review the insurance info online it says it covers towing, but Outdoorsy support chat tells me it does not. So - be better prepared than I was!

5.0Falkor made our trip possible and exceeded our expectations, between the shower and the AC we were set after a long sweaty day. There were so many thoughtful little touches and easy communication with the owners
