Welcome to our BuddyVan. Measuring in at 21 ft it fits in most parking spaces. If you have ever thought about trying out tiny home living, our unit is perfect for you!! It is perfect for that leisure weekend get away or a small family trip. The van comes equipped with a fridge and freezer compartment, microwave, and stove. There are solar panels, a lithium battery, and a built in generator/alternator on the engine which means you can be off grid for days as long as there is gas in the vehicle. The bathroom doubles as a shower and a lifted toilet top has been installed to make it easier to get on and off. There are two beds. One in the back which lifts up to the side giving extra room for storage and or a few bikes. The seating area in the front folds down to the second bed. The van is also equipped with the added safety Tyron rubber feature in case of a blowout. Since it is a gas model it gets close to 15 miles to a gallon which makes it more efficient than the larger models out there. Our guests are our top priority so we are open to suggestions and will work with you to meet your travel needs. Please answer outdoorsy communications as we will contact you prior to approving the booking since we try to customize each trip based on your plans. We can make adjustments and even offer extra options at little to no cost if you communicate accordingly. What's includedAntibacterial gel, rv toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, baby wipes/santitizing wipes, small garbage can under the sink,13 gallon trash bags, memory foam mattress toppers, sheet set for the back bed (sheets will not be included for the front bed unless requested), 2 blankets, some disposable microwavable plates and bowls, plastic silverware (enough for 6 people), some cookware, Small First aid kit. RecommendationsWe have visited Tennessee, Alabama, north/south Carolina, and Florida in our RV. We also used it to visit southern Ohio a lot. With it being an RV but only 21 ft long it can park in any parking space or driveway with ease and has been parked many times at a local Walmart or cracker barrel overnight. It has also made the trip through New York by a renter and we do have the option of an easy pass for you but will bill you for the tolls. We recently camped at Disney in a pop up camp site and it was the perfect setup for us.Other things to noteCamping chairs, electric induction cooker, small square table, 1 cup coffee maker, and extra linens is not included but can be upon request. We can also offer airport pickup at Cleveland Hopkins or Akron/Canton upon request.*Just a reminder like a rental car, it is expected to return the van with a tank of gas or you will be charged the full cost of a tank. We recently lowered our cleaning price to give you the option to dump the black and grey tanks yourself. If you do not we will charge you a $30 fee for us to do so.

I am an artsy individual who likes to sew and make custom blankets. I also like drawing and singing. My family owns a travato van that was purchased with help from our late and dear "grandpa buddy." We don't use it as often as we like and would like other families to create memories in it just like we have which is why we joined the outdoorsy community. I am used to kids in general and have a lot of compassions for them but our son is still a toddler so if you have kids I will do what I can to accommodate. Please don't hesitate to make requests. Thanks.

Our trip was great. Only could do one day/night but we learned a lot and that was the goal.
Jaque was very helpful and gave us much information to help us as we continue our research on a possible purchase of a van of our own.

The RV was perfect. It was very clean and the pickup and drop off was very smooth. When we are in need of another adventure we will definitely be looking to rent again!

Awesome Vehicle for a road trip with my son and dog. We never once went to a restaurant, a few visits to grocery stores as needed, more economical than I anticipated. Awesome owner, she was great. Very nice and helpful explaining everything up front. It was a great education and learning experience regarding the RV lifestyle.

April 20244
This was just the size of vehicle I needed to chase the eclipse in April 2024! Jaquelyn was very easy to work with, very helpful with my questions, and the RV was just the right size to be able to drive anywhere I needed. There were a couple things I didn't know how to operate, which turned out to be user error, but she was helpful when I had questions. I would recommend that if this is your first time renting this kind of RV to ask her to walk you through (and even have you demonstrate understanding in front of her) all the functions of the vehicle to make sure you understand how each system works prior to leaving for your trip. Overall a great experience and helpful for what I needed it for. Thanks, Jaquelyn!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host
Q.How does the generator work and how loud is it?
A.
The generator on the van is built into the engine which means the battery also charges when driving. There is a way to have it auto start if the battery is low and needs a charge while parked. Keep in mind the van will start up so you need to make sure to turn the radio off or you will get awakened by it. There is also solar panels on top of the van to charge as well.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I am fairly flexible and will accomodate what I can as far as pickup and drop off. I do ask that it is done during daylight so you have the chance to make any observations and I have that opportunity when it is returned as well.
Q.Can I park my vehicle in your driveway?
A.
The answer to this question is yes. When the van is out of our driveway there is a whole side of our driveway that will accomodate you. I have included this as a free option with your rental so there is no charge or discount should you use or not use this feature.
Q.Does the van have a hitch?
A.
Yes it does but honestly we have never used it for anything outside of an ECV lift with an ECV on it. If you need the lift or the ECV we would consider renting that out for an additional cost as well. We have had a few renters attach a bike rack to it.
