5Tyler was an excellent person to rent from. He was easy to reach when I had questions, his trailer functioned great and there were lots of nice touches in the decor, games, and extras.

3We recently rented a 5-year-old travel trailer for a weekend camping trip, and while we were excited to enjoy some time outdoors, the condition of the trailer seriously put a damper on the experience. I’ve camped in all kinds of conditions—from tents to rustic cabins—but I at least expect a rented trailer to be clean upon arrival. Unfortunately, this one was anything but. The trailer looked nice in the listing—clean, cozy, and well-kept—but the reality was very different. From the moment we stepped inside, there was a visible layer of dust across every surface, including inside the oven and on top of the stove. The windows were so grimy it looked like someone had cooked bacon next to them. I ended up spending our entire first night cleaning—wiping and scrubbing—just to make the space usable for my family. The bathroom was worse. We didn’t end up using it because there was no sewer hookups, but there was leftover urine around the toilet. Yes, really. There was also a ring of dirt inside the sink in the kitchen that hadn’t seen a scrub brush in ages. Honestly, it made me question what else hadn’t been cleaned. It’s frustrating because this trailer was marketed as “well-maintained”, but the condition told a different story. For only being five years old, it had far more wear and tear than expected—scuffed cabinets, peeling pleather upholstery, and sticky countertops. It’s disappointing when the reality doesn’t match the photos or the promises. I hate leaving negative reviews, especially when we’re all just trying to enjoy the great outdoors—but cleanliness is non-negotiable. I’d recommend the owner seriously invest in a professional deep clean and update their listing to reflect the real condition of the trailer. Until then, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. ⸻ Let me know if you want a version tailored for a specific review platform like Outdoorsy or RVshare!
