About this RV

Our Juniper is reliable 2006 Dodge Sprinter converted with love to suit adventures in the Canadian Rockies and beyond.

2006 is the most reliable, and fuel-efficient Sprinter year. Expect 20-26 mpg, 9-12L/100km

***We have just installed a Diesel heater that you can run anytime you want to keep you toasty warm even on the coldest nights. Between October 1st and April 30, Juniper will be equipped with a full set of good quality winter tires.

60 Watt solar panel will keep your phones and laptops charged. We'll provide you with a Discovery Pass which saves you about $20/day on national park entrance fees.

Juniper has a cozy 8" queen-size memory foam mattress, which provided us with some of our best nights of sleep. In only a minute or two bed converts into a U-shaped dinette with a spacious table, good for rainy day board games.

We installed an undermount sink with a quiet foot pump, and for cooking, there is a portable stove with one complimentary gas bottle (it lasts days of frequent cooking). We will also provide a cooler to keep your food fresh.

There is plenty of cabinets and shelf space and as well as storage under the bed and in the garage area in the back of the car.

Pick up time - after 4 pm (Please reserve about 30min to go through paperwork/showing)

Drop off time - by 11 am

We had an absolute dream of a trip through the Rockies with Juniper for 6 days. It doesn't get much better than exploring the lakes and mountains on a van and getting Juniper was our best decision ever! Juniper is super easy to drive (and great mileage!), extremely cozy and practical to sleep, eat and chill. Martina and Lex were super easy to communicate with, and always available to answer any qu…

Martina responded to all ofour communications very quickly. She was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately we had to cancell our rental because of Covid-19 but Martina was very understanding and gave us a full refund. We plan to try to go to Calgary in 2021 and we really hope Martina's van, Juniper, will be available for us then.

Juniper was perfect for our weekend getaway! The van has everything you need to explore the mountains in comfort. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, spices, coffee etc. and the bed was very comfortable. Martina was very easy to communicate with, very accommodating and gave lots of suggestions to make our trip great. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Things to do nearby

If you're into natural cosmetics, please visit this place that smells heavenly. Most of my creams, shampoos, deodorants, ... come from this shop with the factory based in Canmore.

No words needed for this lake. Come before 4.30-5.30 am to claim the parking spot and have a nap/breakfast before seeing the lake. This way you won't need to pay for the shuttle bus.

Very reasonably priced food and drinks. Always quite easy to grab a table.

Easy walk along the canyon in wildfire forest. Very unique landscape and not too many people if you avoid rush hour.

Get the gondola to amazing alpine meadows with crystal clear lakes and hike easy trails with endless mountain views.

Hard to beat the views you'll get from the ridge. Grizzly bears are frequent, so always carry a bear spray.

One of my favourite hikes in the Canadian Rockies. Especially in larch season end of September

Great choice of tasty vegan/vegetarian food. I would recommend calling for the reservation.

Quite a fascinating historical place where I always take my friends - it's where the first Canadian national park was born.

Relatively unknown trail, great in late September when the larch trees are turning golden. Start early to avoid crowds.

Lovely easy hike to gorgeous little lakes. Start early to avoid crowds.

Chilled bistro with amazing views. A locals secret, great to spend a couple of hours working on the internet or playing board games while sipping hot apple cider.

Lovely tea and coffee. Healthy breakfast and smoothie bowls. Bright and cozy interior.
