2012 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Majestic
Marge is very easy to drive. She features an automatic with cruise and overdrive options. To increase comfortability and lower stress while driving, all of our units have back up cameras installed which double as a rear-view mirror (so you can always see what’s behind you on the road)! There is a TON of storage space in the cargo area at the back for all your luggage and personal items. The spec sheet tells us Marge features a 150L fresh water tank, 92L grey tank, and 92L black tank.Marge has a 3 burner propane stove top, microwave, sink, fridge/freezer, ceiling mounted electric AC unit, heater, plenty of cabinet and overhead cupboard space. She also has a rear bath which includes a sink/vanity with a mirrored medicine cabinet, an adult shower and a foot flush toilet. Please note Marge will be winterized mid-September, meaning there will be no water services (toilet, shower, sinks/taps) available past that point until next spring. What's includedYou're able to customize Marge with whatever items we supply (up to 6) for a fee. Please see the add-ons section for pricing details. We can provide linens (or sleeping bags), towels, table settings (plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery), an assortment of pots & pans, pot holders, a kettle, matches, and up to 6 camp chairs. There is a table included in the cargo area (stored as a part of the floor - just remove it when you arrive!)RecommendationsWe have camped all over Alberta with Marge in both Provincial and Federal campgrounds. We're big fans of spending time in Banff and the gorgeous Rocky Mountains (which are ~ 1 hour west of Calgary), so we head that way most often! There are plenty of adventures to go on, from easy hikes to horseback riding, kayaking on the river or checking out the Gondola on Sulphur Mountain! If you're chasing the sun, check out Dinosaur Provincial Park for great weather and hikes!Other things to notePlease treat our Marge with respect! This is our family motorhome, so we're looking for renters who will treat it like we would. We're charging less than Outdoorsy recommended for the rental because we're using Marge for our family adventures too, and we understand that for many, times are difficult.Since the owners have strong allergies to most pets, we unfortunately can't accept reservations with pets.We are non-smokers, so no smoking or vaping inside the unit.No climbing on Marge’s roof.A damage inspection and inventory will be completed upon pick up and drop off which you will need to acknowledge and sign. This process shouldn't take more than an hour and will familiarize you with Marge, how to empty tanks, how to drive her properly, and what to expect…and will let us get to know each other :)Accepting the roadside assistance and insurance coverage is mandatory. There is no awning on this unit.Other fees:An Uber to/from the airport is ~ $25 each way. If you would like Marge brought to / picked up from the airport, a fee of $75 for each will be applied. Please provide ample time from the airport for your flight and Marge's check-in / check-out process.Marge will be provided to you clean both inside and out. There is a required $150 cleaning fee, which will be used to sanitized and clean her to our standards. Please return Marge in the condition you received it in to avoid additional charges. If Marge's exterior is exceptionally dirty or requires extra washing, there is an additional charge of $100.If the water tanks (black, grey, fresh) are not empty upon drop off, there will be a charge of $100 for emptying.Marge’s gas tank will be full at pick-up. If her gas tank is not full at drop-off there will be a charge of whatever the cost is to fill it up, plus $100 for our time to do so.If it works for our schedule and you'd like to pick up early on the same day, there is a $30/hr early pick up fee. If you would like to pick up your reservation with Marge a day early, the daily fee applies (if she is available). If you are late to drop Marge after the agreed upon time, there is a fee of $30/hr until she is returned (if this impacts the rental after yours) and a fee of $30/hr until the daily fee is reached (if it does not affect the rental after yours). That said, we understand things happen on the road that can delay you. Call us, and we'll try to work something out.Other:
Please note Marge's speedometer is in mph, so you need to follow the inner circle for kph. Any speeding tickets you get are yours to pay. :)The rear windows and vents must be closed while driving. The windows could let in exhaust fumes, and the vents are made of a thin plastic which will break in the wind if open while driving.More than anything, we want you to have a safe, fun, and enjoyable trip!

We loved Marge so much!!! She treated us so well and Banff wouldn’t have been the same without her. Plenty of space in the cabin so was perfect to see all of the views while driving through the parks. Margie (as we called her) was easy to maneuver and park. Everything worked perfectly with her.
Our host, Arlene was an amazing and she was super helpful, easy to communicate with and made everything smooth. Was my first time RV’ing and so grateful to have had this experience with Margie by our side.

Thank you Ben! We are glad you and Emily had a great time with Marge. Being the biggest, she is without doubt very roomy! Come back again - we would love to host you!

Noble was really helpful all the time when we had questions with our itinerary. We had to change our plan because of the big fires in Jasper and she gave us extra mileage to reduce this stressful situation with our family.
The motorhome has everything we needed to make this memories perfect!

Thank you Isabelle! It was nice to meet you and your family. Thank you for taking such great care of Marge and for being great communicators. We are glad the extra mileage helped to reduce some of the stress you experienced from the Jasper fires!

We had a great experience driving Marge. Arlene was a wonderful host. Everything was perfect. Would highly recommend Arlene and her RV for trips through the Rockies.

Arlene and her RV, Marge, helped my family create one of the best memories we will share together. Traveling through Canadas National Parks was a bucket list camping trip for us.
Noble’s answer
Hello Andrew, thank you so much for your review! It was a pleasure to host you and your family.

Owner was prompt with all communications and very friendly to deal with. Marge definitely shows her age, but did the job for us. Things to bring (that are not in the RV currently, but I suggested to the owner)... garbage can and bags, paper towels, tea towels. coffee maker. (there is a coffee press- but the kettle didn't work well). A stool was provided to us by the owner, as I am 5'2" with a recent knee replacement. The bed is quite high, so the stool helped me a great deal to get up into it! Also, the layout of the RV has the toilet seat very high, so we all used it for the toilet also. The bed was very comfortable. I am rating the overall experience as Okay instead of Good because of the smell from the black tank (started after the 2nd day). Hopefully the owner will replace the seal and provide more tabs for it to improve this.
