2013 Thor Motor Coach Four Winds Majestic
Midge is very easy to drive. She features an automatic with cruise and overdrive options. There is a TON of storage space in the cargo area at the back for all your luggage and personal items. The spec sheet tells us Midge features a 150L fresh water tank, 92L grey tank, and 92L black tank.Midge has a 3 burner propane stove top, microwave, sink, fridge/freezer, ceiling mounted electric AC unit, heater, plenty of cabinet and overhead cupboard space. She also has a rear bath which includes a sink/vanity with a mirrored medicine cabinet, an adult shower and a foot flush toilet.Please note Midge will be winterized at the end of September, meaning there will be no water services (toilet, shower, sinks/taps) available past that point until next spring. What's includedYou're able to customize Midge with whatever items we supply in any quantity (up to 6) for a fee. Please see the add-ons section for details.We can provide linens or sleeping bags, towels, table settings (plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery), an assortment of pots & pans, pot holders, a kettle, matches, and up to 4 camp chairs. There is a table included in the cargo area (stored as a part of the floor - just remove it when you arrive!)RecommendationsWe have camped all over Alberta with Midge in both Provincial and Federal campgrounds. We're big fans of spending time in Banff and the gorgeous Rocky Mountains (which are ~ 1 hour west of Calgary), so we head that way most often! There are plenty of adventures to go on, from easy hikes to horseback riding, kayaking on the river or checking out the Gondola on Sulphur Mountain! If you're chasing the sun, check out Dinosaur Provincial Park for great weather and hikes!Other things to notePlease treat our Midge with respect! This is our family motorhome, so we're looking for renters who will treat her like we would.Since the owners have strong allergies to most pets, we unfortunately can't accept reservations with pets.We are non-smokers, so no smoking or vaping inside the unit.No climbing on Midge’s roof.A damage inspection and inventory will be completed upon pick up and drop off which you will need to acknowledge and sign. This process shouldn't take more than an hour and will familiarize you with Midge, how to empty tanks, how to drive her properly, and what to expect…and will let us get to know each other :)Accepting the roadside assistance and insurance coverage is mandatory.Other fees:An Uber to/from the airport is ~ $25 each way.If you would like Midge brought to / picked up from the airport, a fee of $75 for each will be applied. Please provide ample time from the airport for your flight and Midge's check-in / check-out process.Midge will be provided to you clean both inside and out. There is a required $150 cleaning fee, which will be used to sanitized and clean her to our standards. Please return Midge in the condition you received her in to avoid additional charges. If Midge's exterior is exceptionally dirty or requires extra washing, there is an additional charge of $100.If the water tanks (black, grey, fresh) are not empty upon drop off, there will be a charge of $100 for emptying.Midge’s gas tank will be full at pick-up. If her gas tank is not full at drop-off there will be a charge of whatever the cost is to fill it up, plus $100 for our time to do so.If it works for our schedule and you'd like to pick up early on the same day, there is a $30/hr early pick up fee. If you would like to pick up your reservation with Midge a day early, the daily fee applies (if she is available).If you are late to drop Midge off after the agreed upon time, there is a fee of $30/hr until she is returned (if this impacts the rental after yours) and a fee of $30/hr until the daily fee is reached (if it does not affect the rental after yours). I had the best holiday ever with my family. The RV was just the right size and took us to some beautiful places. Arlene was easy to contact if anything went wrong/if we needed advice and she was so lovely when we met her. She suggested some hikes for us to do on our trip too.

We had a great experience renting with Arlene! She was very quick and knowledgeable with responses. The RV was just what we needed, a good size and everything worked pretty much as expected. No complaints! We had a wonderful experience for 2 weeks in this RV and a great experience with communication with Arlene.

Client cancelled the trip after we accommodated them in a different unit (the unit they booked needed a mechanical issue solved). We re-arranged their trip for them into a newer, slightly larger, better equipped unit at no additional charge but they didn't want the newer unit and asked for a refund.

Arlene was the best host I’ve ever encountered! Upon arrival, she was outside waiting for us, we did a thorough walkthrough of the RV, Arlene was very honest and pointed out the damages on the RV we didn’t even see. The day before the return, we asked for extra time on the RV, Arlene was able to make accommodations with us, when we had questions, Arlene always responded promptly. We drove from Calgary -> Banff -> Jasper and back, had no issue with Midge, everything worked properly and the beds were comfy. Highly recommend Arlene and her RVs!
