To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please adhere to the following rules while enjoying our campervan: 1. Engine & Fueling (Strictly Enforced) • Diesel Fuel ONLY: This vehicle takes Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD). Never use gasoline. Any misfueling will result in a total loss of security deposit plus repair costs. • No Excessive Idling: Please do not idle the engine for more than 5 minutes while stationary. This protects the DPF (emissions system). • Battery Management: Do not run the engine to charge the batteries. Use the solar panels, shore power, or drive the vehicle to replenish power. 2. Driving & Safety • Off-Roading: Driving on maintained gravel roads to access campsites is fine, but strictly no extreme off-roading, rock crawling, or unmaintained trails. • Speed Limit: For your safety and fuel efficiency, we recommend keeping the speed at or below 110km/h (70mph). • Height Clearance: Please be mindful of the vehicle's height (including the awning/Starlink). Always check clearance at drive-thrus, parking garages, and low-hanging branches. 3. Interior & Living • No Smoking/Vaping: Smoking of any kind (including cannabis) is strictly prohibited inside the van. A professional deep-cleaning fee of $500 will be charged if odors are detected. • No pets allowed. • This van is not allowed at festivals (e.g., Burning Man) without prior written consent. 4. Return Condition • Fuel & DEF: The van will be handed over with a full tank of Diesel. Please return it Full. • Cleaning: Please return the van in a "respectfully clean" state. Remove all trash and food. A heavy cleaning fee will apply if the van is returned excessively dirty. • Gray Water: Please ensure the gray water tank is emptied before returning the vehicle. 5. Starlink Equipment (If Selected) • Please handle the Starlink dish and cables with care. Ensure the dish has a clear view of the sky and is securely stowed away before moving the vehicle.
