It can be found just north of Baldwin Park, off East Arrow Highway, Irwindale, and is a popular beauty spot, as well as a home to a number of protected native species of plants and animals. The park has a nature center, as well as a large lake offering year-round fishing, and five acres of chlorinated swim beach during the summer months.
The park is open early until late, with seasonal opening times. It is worthwhile checking ahead to ensure that facilities are open when you plan to visit.

The City of Pico Rivera is a close knit community of over 63,000 residents. Within the City limits, there are plenty of things to do for both residents and visitors alike. If shopping is something that you like to do, look no further than the City of Pico Rivera. If local history is something that interests you, then you should pay a visit to The Pico Rivera Historical Museum. The Museum offers visitors a look at Pico Rivera's colorful past through its collection of photographs, documents and historical objects.The museum is housed in what used to be a train depot built around 1887, one of only a few original depot buildings remaining in the country. Operated by volunteers of the Pico Rivera History and Heritage Society, the museum is open Tuesday, Thursday and the first Saturday of the month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Group and school tours are welcome and may be arranged by appointment.

Each site features a green grass area at every campsite.Three group tenting areas and twenty-five family tent camping sites are in a separate rustic area of the park with water and fire pits near each site. Washers and dryers are available in the laundry room.There is a swing and slide area children's playground designed for safe play for the young. Campers will enjoy a swimming pool with a large deck area for sunbathing and relaxing.
