Wine making began here in the late 19th Century, and today the vineyard at Monte Bello in the Santa Cruz Mountains produces exceptional wines, and welcomes visitors who want to see the estate and sample their delightful produce. Most wine tasting sessions are arranged by appointment, but small groups of eight or less are able to visit the estate and the tasting room at the weekend without a reservation.
