The Great Outdoors

Visitors can’t come to Orillia without stopping by Lake Simcoe. This large lake covers over 770 square kilometers (480 square miles) is easily accessible from Orillia. Black River Campground, located within Black River Wilderness Park, is a Chippewa-owned and operated establishment with partial-hookup sites for RVs. You'll have 180 acres of woodland to explore at Black River Wilderness Park, and you can also enjoy indigenous cultural experiences, such as medicine walks, drum and song, and crafting.

McRae Point has two campgrounds offering over 200 electric and primitive sites, some of which are pull-through for large motorhome rentals. This park also features a dump station, public bathrooms, hot showers, and a registration office where campers can purchase novelty items and camping necessities. McRae Point is right on the shores of Lake Simcoe, making it a convenient place for lake loungers to park their Orillia campervan rental.

If you're renting a travel trailer in Simcoe County, check out Hammock Harbour RV Park. This RV park has 29 campsites with 30-amp electrical hookups, water hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits. Restrooms and water access are located near all the campsites.
