5 star service, and highly valuable rental package! Tim was the best host we’ve ever had - he was very thorough, very thoughtful, and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This rental has enormous value - spacious trailer with lots of room for everyone, and it was stocked with most of what we needed (we brought our own camping stove, but Tim offers a full outdoor kitchen add-on if you need one). This trailer was very clean, the linens were fresh, and everything worked the way it was supposed to. There was plenty of storage space for our things so we could keep the space clean and uncluttered, and the fold down dinette was a perfect spot for our pack and play. Our family of four (parents, baby, toddler) was very comfortable during our week-long stay. We had enough fresh water for washing up during the week, and didn’t run out of grey/black water space (we used the campground showers and washrooms about 50% of the time). Although we didn’t need it, Tim even set us up with a mobile tank to empty the grey water, and a fresh water jug and spout for a fresh water refill. The air conditioning worked great to keep the trailer comfortable in the 35 degree weather. If we ever camp in the area again, we will absolutely book this rental again!

Tim was an incredible host. The camper was perfect and such a nice little oasis. It was stocked with so many nice little necessities that made camping easy. The beds were comfy, the camper was clean and homey. We felt absolutely spoiled by Tim. This was our first experience with glamping but we are now hooked. Highly highly recommend renting from Tim.

Tim’s trailer was as advertised; was clean, comfortable and well setup to accommodate my elderly parents, my wife and I, plus our two year old son. We slept well and everyone was happy. Tim was a champion to deal with and always super responsive, professional and organized in our back and forth communications. I would absolutely recommend Tim’s trailer for your vacation RV rental needs. Thanks again Tim!! I hope we can find the opportunity to rent your trailer again sometime soon.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Provincial campgrounds require us to be gone by 11 am, which means I have to arrive about 9 am to pack up. Checking in is usually 2 pm (but sometimes I can get in earlier) so we should be set up by 3 pm (4 pm with the outdoor kitchen.) If we are delivering to a private camp spot, I'm more flexible, but set up is usually after noon, and pickup is before noon, depending on when the unit is booked out again. Same-day turnarounds make tighter times, especially if significant distance is involved.

I was a financial planner for 40 years, the last 25 of which I ran a boutique firm of planners. Now that I'm retired, and since we live on the bank of the Columbia River in Castlegar, I have more time to enjoy fishing out my front door! When they aren't biting, I putter in my woodshop or tend the trees and shrubs in our yard. My wife, Alicia, is an accomplished piano accompanist and trombone player, so much of our life involves musical pursuits. We belong to the United Church choir, the Twin Rivers Community Choir, the Trail Maple Leaf Band and the Swingsations Big Band for the ballroom dancers in the area. When summer comes and the garden is in, we take a break from the music and get away in "Layton" for a couple of weeks of camping. There's no shortage of beautiful campsites in the West Kootenay, so we never have to go far. Life is good!
