1Our family was anxiously awaiting an adventure to Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone. We have always wanted to take our children to both places and renting an RV to make it more fun. Left on a Monday afternoon and sadly never made it to our first destination, at least on time, as we experienced numerous RV issues that not only cost us a lot of money, but we lost out on staying at the destination. The RV wouldn’t start on Tuesday evening about 90 mins from our destination. We had to stay and spent the night at a gas station to wait for a mechanic to come diagnose the problem as the RV would not start. After the mechanic checked it and it seemed to be fixed, we were on the road again Wednesday, late in the morning. As we were driving, the RV completely lost all power in the middle of the highway and we had to coast to the very narrow shoulder and call roadside assistance again. Thankfully, we avoided a major disaster because there no big trucks behind us. Long story short, we eventually got the RV going again to make it to our destination a day and half late. On our way to our next destination, Yellowstone, we discovered the RV’s wheel had lost 3 lug nuts, they broke off, along with 3 other lug nuts quite loose that I could tighten them with my fingers. Only 2 lug nuts were holding the wheel in place. So we hunkered down for 2 nights waiting for someone to fix the tires, again. Avoiding another accident that could’ve cost us our lives. We spent most of our trip waiting for someone to fix the RV. This wasn’t the trip we paid for or were anxiously waiting for with our children. We also paid for nights we never got to use and that was well over $400 in expenses and we had to pay for nights at a KOA we never intended to stay at. While the host Robert and his wife were quite nice, the fact we didn’t get what we paid for is evident and our safety was in jeopardy. We paid to have a memorable vacation, but it turned into a nightmare as we didn’t know if the RV would continue to break down. We were beyond frustrated. Turned out to be a very expensive trip that robbed us of valuable vacation time. I don’t know anyone who would want to pay for a trip only to have over half of it waiting for someone to come fix your transportation so you could get on the road again.

5Robert was great to work with and the RV ran great. Robert pointed out anything that was wrong with the RV, is honest and trustworthy to work with giving my deposit back in full. I will rent from him again without hesitation.
