We got you covered. This 1985 Toyota Van has been gutted and converted to accommodate two people in cozy comfort. Fuel efficient and ready to venture out into the world. The interior has a fixed bed with a waterproof boat mattress. There are curtains on all the windows and behind the driver/passenger seat for complete privacy. There is also a roof rack for you to tie your toys to! This is a basic camper van with a can do attitude.Storage galore under the bed for your cooler/bags/whatever else you want. This is an old van so don't expect anything too fancy. Priced low to reflect that. Ideal for a scenic road trip around the island... not recommended for fast travelers. This van has regular inspections and is all cleared to be on the open road. Frequently asked questions
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
This is an off grid rig, so no electric, water or sewage hook up.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
This is an older vehicle so be sure to keep that in mind. There is a button on the steering column that turns off the electrical in the van so be sure to always push that to release the keys fully. Generally a very easy vehicle to operate! Even with the old power steering...

Hi there
Thanks for checking out Le Vandalf. I bought the van last fall and have fixed 'er up and spent this summer venturing around the island with my dog. I always wanted to rent a camper van before owning one and found it surprisingly expensive! So I thought others in my situation may be interested in renting out this wonderful rig. While not the fanciest, it'll get you from point A to B and provide somewhere to sleep at an affordable rate.
Any questions or special requests please feel free to send a message to chat about it - happy travels!
