The Airstream Globetrotter trailer has a sleek, modern style in both inside and out. It is perfectly aerodynamic, and the interior design has influences from all over Europe. Its a perfect combination of comfort and style. We like to call her Cosmo.
Cosmo comes with a bedroom area that can have either a queen or two twin beds, a kitchen area, bathroom area, and a lounge/dining area. The lounge are fold into a twin bed as well.
The hitch weight is perfectly balanced making it 591 lbs. this means the load on your trailer hitch is under 600 lbs. making is seamless and safe for SUVs, Modern Trucks (1/2 ton on up) and full size vans to tow little Cosmo across the country with ease. You probably wont feel her back there but please do remember while pulling, turning, changing lanes and parking she is there.
This is a hard-to-find, collectible Airstream that is in remarkably good condition for her age.
I am the second owner, the original owners came from west Texas and drove her around the country with their family until they stuck her in a barn for about decade due to well, age. Cosmo is 40 years old this year and will now be providing us and our families with wonderful memories for another 40 years.
Everything is all original so, take a moment to go back in time and smell the roses with your friends, loved ones and nature. Enjoy life as we should. Its hard to remember sometimes that simple and soulful experiences are not only much needed but " Cool".
What's includedFresh linens, towels, camping chairs, cooler and basic cooking and bathroom essentials provided. Family games to play. Uno, checkers, cribbage, deck cards, old maid, etc.
There will be a blanket in storage area for outside use for picnics or just hanging out or star gazing., Just shake it off and keep it in outside storage when done each day. Please do not take inside blankets, towels or linens outside.
RecommendationsTake Cosmo home to your house for extra sleeping space for family events or to one of Texas beautiful lakes or state parks. Great for family reunions for extra seeping quarters for you guest or maybe to hide out in when your guest get on you nerves. Also great for home renovations so you can keep an eye on things or just get some me time to read a book or take a nap.
Take Cosmo to NASCARs infield for a three day hooray. You wont be the biggest camper out there but possibly the coolest. Just make sure you have ear plugs.
I recommend if you take Cosmo on a road trip that six hours travel a day is a good benchmark. Aftercall its not the destination that makes lasting memories, it s the journey. Take time to kick the can each day, it remarkable what we miss always on the go. So take the journey with Cosmo and wherever you go, remember to take the time look up at the stars each night into the cosmos.
Other things to notePlease turn off the propene at the top of the outside tank when your gone on day trips, traveling on the road or away for long periods of time. Don't forget to turn it back on. Be sure to level the trailer while camping so water and tanks flow and drain as intended. At the end of the trip if you would place all soiled towels and bed sheets in the shower area it would be greatly appreciated. Discard all trash as well please and be sue to lock up when gone.
Please No Smoking "anything" inside the trailer. we don't want to break the 40 year streak, and aftercall outside is a couple feet away. When having a campfire, firepit or smoking be mindful of open windows and doors. Lastly when parking at camp sites or RV parks, positions the trailer when possible so windows and doors on trailer at camp sites are away from the natural order of smoke, and please keep doors and window closed during Smokey periods. So you can breath deep while you sleep.
Most importantly, laugh, have fun, enjoy each other and nurture you sole with nature.

I started my adult career off as a Classically trained French chef, and then realized the great pleasure I received of service and serving people. This is in my blood and Soon translated into renovating dilapidated classic older homes, another art I feel in o love with. Soon as part of my family, rental properties and renters become my new customer base and as a manager of those properties StellarX properties was formed. This translated into Airbnb‘s which I’ve had great pleasure with. Now here we are, another fork in the road ( no pun intended) with having a beautiful little 72 Globetrotter Airstream for a short or long term vacation rental.I was told or learned as a boy young boy while growing up on a dairy farm in southern New Hampshire, when you-buy the cow the milk is free and go west. The cow being the property and the milk being the pure pleasure to provide others enjoyment to nourish your sole. Resting is rusting and word of mouth is king. My goal is to never get rusty and provide an experience people love to share.
