Highly helpful and communicative

Rachel consistently communicated promptly and helped with last-minute bookings. She went above and beyond with thoughtful gestures like setting up a sunshade. Pick-up/drop-off was easy and timely, though one check-in felt rushed with minor items forgotten.

Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped

The camper was spotlessly clean, with working heater, hot water, fridge, and cooktop. The main bed was very comfortable. It included thoughtful extras, though the AC unit had a smell at lower speeds and could benefit from cleaning.

Rachel was sincerely a wonderfully helpful and thoughtful host. Her trailer was spotlessly clean and everything was in good, working order. She went above and beyond in setting up a sun shade for us. She communicated promptly and clearly, and we enjoyed getting to know her a bit. We really appreciated her assistance, and would happily rent her trailer again.

Rachel was a good host for us. She was very punctual and friendly. Check-in felt a little rushed and she forgot to collect some items from the shower, so I just showed them in one of the storage compartments. The air conditioner unit had a bit of a smell when running at lower speeds, so it could probably benefit from a cleaning. Heater and hot water worked great. Fridge and cooktop worked great. The main bed was VERY comfortable, much better than a standard camper mattress. Checkout was also timely and expedient, very respectful of my time.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What size trailer ball do I need to tow this trailer?

A.

You'll need a 2 5/16 ball size.

Q.

What generator size do I need to run the A/C and Heater?

A.

To run the A/C, you'll need a generator that's at least 3,500 Watts. The heater runs on propane, which provides about 2.5 continuous hours of furnace operation per gallon of propane.

Q.

What is the tow rating recommended for this trailer?

A.

This trailer averages around 4,000 lbs combined weight. Most trucks and SUVs have an average tow rating of 5,000 lbs, however, we recommend a tow rating of 8,000 lbs, especially if you plan on driving up/down hills that will cause drag on the lighter vehicles.

Q.

Are linnens for the beds included in this rental?

A.

Yes, both bunk beds and the queen bed have sheets and comforters, as well as an additional set if the table is converted to a bed. Pillows are also included. All sheets are laundered after every rental. Guests may request to use their own or bring additional pillows/blankets as you'd like.

Meet your host, Rachel

Member since 2022

My husband and I are two Air Force veterans who own on a small urban farm in Southeast Ohio. When we're not spending time on our work, family and animals, we are traveling as much as possible. We love to pack up the RV for short camping trips at local spots like Hocking Hills (OH) and Brown County (IN), or long distances like the Upper Peninsula (MI). We've spent a lifetime tent-camping and now enjoy the luxury of the RV ... especially when the weather doesn't necessarily turn out as expected, which is typical in Ohio. We've packed our RV with our favorite camping DVDs, games and books for the rainy days, but hope our RV will help families make lots of memories hiking, fishing, sightseeing and making smores fireside.
