We now have Three Batteries!! No more running out of energy like other Revels with only two batteries. This Winnebago Revel 4×4 camper van is ready to spring into action for a road trip to remember! Blue Bear has everything you’ll need for an authentic "vanlife" experience, be it a quick weekend getaway taking in the changing leaves or a more epic hibernation vacation. (YES! We can do an in-depth tutorial for Winter van-life and we do include extra blankets or comforters). We have almost anything else for your van camping experience--including stand up paddle boards & bikes! This van seats four passengers and can sleep up to three people so bring your bear cubs along! The van stays warm with a hydronic heating system and cool with an AC unit powered by solar electric and lithium battery system. The Blue Bear’s kitchen is complete with a portable induction stove, a sink with running hot or cold water, and a fridge that’s accessible from inside or outside the van for convenient culinary creations while you camp. With multiple ways to configure the seating arrangements this van can accommodate a dining area, a remote work desk, an additional sleeping area, or swiveling captains chairs. There’s plenty of space to romp around inside Blue Bear, especially when you auto-lift the bed! If you’re craving some luxury after a long day of adventuring you can enjoy a warm shower before hopping into bed to get a good night’s rest on the upgraded memory foam mattress topper. This van feels so much like home, you’ll forget you’ve left your cave to camp on wheels!

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Colorado for a long weekend in the Blue Bear. The Host was communicative, helpful, thorough with the walkthrough, and willing to help if we needed anything. The van had everything we would have needed. Thank you very much for the positive experience!

This was our first time renting a van (or camper) and I'm not sure the experience of renting the Blue Bear can be topped. Jamie and Lance are amazing hosts, thinking of everything that could possibly be needed for an amazing trip. The van was clean, well stocked and ready to go. Communication was solid from the beginning. The user guide was handy and the pre-trip walk through was thorough. I've rented a lot of vehicles, and housing through peer-to-peer networks (VRBO, Turo, etc) and while hosts are generally good to work with, I can say that this was by far the best experience I've had with a rental. There really wasn't anything that I can think of that was lacking.

Jamie and Lance are wonderful hosts! The Bougie Bus is exactly as described and has all the basics covered. We always had power, hot water, and really enjoyed the off-grid experience. Driving was a breeze, couldn't get over the turning radius. For us, the bed was a tad small, but this is a personal preference, the bed was comfortable, just a little tight. Thank you for sharing!!

Rules and policies
• Please read our Blue Bear Guidebook for "Rules of the Road." This will make sure you have all of the necessary information. • Fees will be incurred if tanks that need to be emptied are not emptied and tanks that are not full that need to be filled. Details are in the Blue Bear Guidebook. • Please see add-on section ($20/hr)if your pick up needs to be before 2pm and your drop off is after 11 am (any return after 8pm will be charged an additional day and possibly a lost booking if not returned on specified date • Fees will be incurred for an excessively dirty van upon return. • Fees will be incurred for an animal hair or markings on sheets or bed area, seats, etc. • Fees will be incurred for any unpaid parking tickets or road tolls • Replacement charge will be made for windshield dings, chips and cracks. Unfortunately, the windshield can only be the responsibility of the person driving the vehicle, even though it is often the fault of someone driving in front of the vehicle. With 4x4 vans, even a small ding that gets repaired will spread into cracks once the weather changes and/or the vehicle is driven on a dirt road. This is why our policy is to replace the windshield if the van is returned with a chip, ding or crack. Please, please take extra time and many photos of the windshield during the initial key exchange to ensure it is free of damage as you leave with it. As of 11/19/2025, the cost to replace the windshield is $850.00(this includes the install and calibration). Staying under 65 mph and far behind any semi-truck or car veering on to the shoulder really does work to protect the windshield. • •

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What is the heating capacity?

A.

The Elwell Timberline Heater (new 2nd gen), runs from the van's diesel fuel. It requires a min. 1/4 tank of fuel to run the hydronic heat system and to heat the van's internal space and the heated domestic water. This system is not rated above 10,000 ft and thus cannot not ensure a heated cabin warm enough to keep the water lines from freezing and bursting the water plumbing system and fixtures. Anyone traveling and camping above 10,000 ft. and in temps below 36* f, must carry RV antifreeze.
