Andrew's Island Hopper is a stealthy Ford Transit featuring Queen sized bed, pillows, sink, water pump, Coleman stove, kitchen with cutlery, pots, pans, fridge, ventilation, camp table, 2 camp chairs, 10x10 shade structure and lots of room for your gear!
"The Hopper" also packs inverter, 2 charged batteries for use with all your gadgets, gorgeous cedar trim , wood block counter tops and soft close cabinetry throughout. A regular gas engine with the shortest wheelbase in its class (it handles like a min-van), make this a sweet rig for bombing out for a surf trip to Tofino, exploring the Gulf and Discovery Islands, Strathcona Park and the northern Vancouver Island.
Andrew is available to pick up and drop off the Hopper at Victoria and Nanaimo airports and BC Ferry terminals as far north as Nanaimo for an extra fee.

First of all I’d like to say how awesome Andrew is, he made the whole experience of renting a camper van so easy! Andrew couldn’t have done any more for us, answering any questions we had, to even helping us with the pick up/drop off of the van itself which was appreciated massively!

What an amazing experience! It was our first time taking a campervan and Andrew's Island Hopper was a perfect way to start. Totally decked out, easy to navigate and great for making meals in and crashing out comfortably. Andrew has everything that you need to camp in style – camp chairs, beach mat, stove, full kitchen and running water. We even filled up the water tank from fresh springs around the island.
Andrew was sincerely one of the best hosts we could have asked for. Outdoorsy had some issues with my overseas credit card, but Andrew was super patient while they worked it out. When we finally arrived at his place, we had a great chat and could have hung out much longer in his front yard. He gave us some great tips for getting around, and even gave us a lift after we dropped off the van. It was great to meet Andrew and taste the island life in the Island Hopper. Is five stars all we can rate? Decidedly recommended!

LOOK NO FURTHER!! This is the van of your dreams (at least it was the van of my dreams). It's pretty easy to drive even if you've never driven a larger vehicle before. Kitchen comes equipped with everything you'd need for car camping. So many lovely touches and everything in perfect condition. Andrew was super easy to communicate with, and was nice enough to answer many of my non-van related questions about camping on the island. If you are coming from outside BC, would recommend paying for the extra van delivery since getting around without a car is a bit tough. We chose to get a van on the island rather than deal with the cost + hassle of taking a car on the ferry. Thanks Andrew!!

We really enjoyed travelling with Andrew's RV on Vancouver Island.
The information on the website was all correct and the equipment was great. In addition, the communication with Andrew worked well.
