Esmerelda is like a tiny apartment ready for her next adventure. She has everything you will need to camp comfortably. She is fully loaded and road ready. Though she is 21 feet this Rockwood Roo is relatively light so she is easy to pull. She has A+ comfy bedding, toiletries, pots, pans, and cutlery.The main chill zone features a large dining table with a mounted monitor with Hdmi hookup and bt speaker so you can watch a movie and relax after an active day or jam out while cooking dinner! There is a 4 burner stovetop, oven where you could throw in a frozen pizza, and microwave if you are looking for a quick meal. She also has a fresh water filter for potable water to ensure the cleanest water for drinking, cooking and showering. Nothing like a nice cold shower after a muddy day tubing on the nearby green river, or throwing discs at a local disc golf course.She can sleep 7-8 people comfortably if you convert the dinette into another large sleeping area. Bring the whole family on your next adventure, including your small good mannered pup. She is ready to take you and your family to the lake, river or mountains! Kick back and relax in style with this green beauty!What's includedBasic First Aid. Cookware, utensils, fresh linens, towels and minor toiletries. Tv monitor, and HDMI Cable. Edison bulb string lights for the awning outside with easy remove and install command strips. Camping basics such as headlamp, scissors, bug repellant, and camping lighters. RecommendationsNearby there are alot of great camping areas and RV travel parks. We recently enjoyed the Lake Orchard Campground in the quaint town of Saluda, NC. Onsite there is a small lake and dock, many full hookup rv spots. The campground is Aptly named for the many apple orchards in the area. You can pick fresh apples, and drink apple cider once the weather cools down in the fall. Saluda is also the home of Green River Tubing which makes for a great family outing. There is also a ziplining canopy tour if water isnt your thing! Just a hop skip and a jump is the scenic town of Lake Lure where Dirty Dancing was filmed and where chimney rock is located. If you stop near chimney rock make sure to hike down to hickory nut gap falls! There is a plethora of camping and natural wonders in the Land of the Waterfalls in Brevard, NC as well. Other things to noteSmall well mannered pets are welcome. Under 40 lbs please.
Smoke whatever you like, just not in the camper. No open flames of any kind inside please.
Please enjoy festivals responsibly.
When possible plan for the weather. Zip up the pop out bed windows in case of rain and put the awning up. Rain is the campers worst enemy!
This camper is not equpped for off grid camping. The battery can power the lights and heater for a short amount of time. It's doable but not ideal. You can BYO generator.

    What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

    A.

    Some flexibility is available on a case by case basis. Pickup is between 9-10 am and drop off is at 2 pm. For pickup and drop off please allow at least a half hour for the step by step walk through.

    How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

    A.

    This camper has 30 Amp electric. It is as easy as plugging it into the tower at the campsite. There is a two way water hose with filter for the camper water side, and normal hose attachment that connects to the city water connection spicket on the side of the camper.     Do I have to dump the blackwater (toilet waste) tank before drop off?

    A.

    Yes, it is not as scary as it seems! I have attached a video of how to do this below. If the camper is returned with more waste then when it was rented a $180 fee will be incurred. How to dump the blackwater tank https://youtu.be/sHJRTWFDXic . Where do I dump? The most convenient location is at the campsite if this is included in your stay. You can also look up dump stations on rvdumps.com or sanidumps.com. Another good option is camping world.

    I am a first time RV Owner looking to share my sweet updated camper. I have camped and boated since a young age and developed a love for the outdoors. Esmerelda is a 21 foot 2000 Forest River Rockwood Roo Hybrid camper. She is compact for travel but opens up to be a spacious little abode. Her bones are older but she has had a modern update and everything is in working order. I renovated her in hopes of taking her on trips with my pup and to share my love for the outdoors with others.
