We have been loving the very kid friendly KOA's both Chula Vista and Temecula. We also recommend our state beaches such as San Elijo and South Carlsbad. It's also just an hour drive from our house to our beautiful local mountains such as Mount Laguna and the sweet town of Julian which are always our favorite in the Fall. Coronado Silver strand is also a great RV/ Trailer spot right on the beach and usually easy to grab spots! Please reach out for more recommendations or specifics, we are happy to help!Other things to noteThis trailer is ultra light at just 3,033 lbs dry but we do ask that you are equipped with a 7-pin trailer hitch. We will provide a bluetooth capable brake controller if you plan to tow yourself but we are very happy to provide delivery service for your convenience. While we are pet friendly, we have a one dog (under 65 pounds) limit due to the trailer size and no other animals of any kind. We do also require you purchase the extra renter protection plan if you do bring your dog. Please help us take care of our trailer and don't allow any scratching, chewing or destructive behavior by your pet. Pets are never to be left alone in the trailer. We do have a mandatory cleaning and preparation fee to provide you with the best experience possible and ask you to return the trailer in the high quality condition you received it to avoid possible charges for any additional professional deep cleaning of any kind that may be required due to large messes etc. There is no smoking or vaping of any kind in the trailer and this trailer is not to be used for tailgating or festivals of any kind. 5Mary and Joe were great hosts! They were very communicative and available to answer questions, when needed. It was our first time using Outdoorsy and first time using a camping trailer so we had some questions about the pickup/dropoff process and all of the trailer systems. They let me come early to walk through it with Joe and have each system explained which was very helpful and above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. We would give a 10 out of 5 stars if we could. They were great! The camping trailer itself was perfect for our family of 4. Our girls (4 and 1.5) loved the bunk beds! The bottom bunk had a baby gate which made the trip much more enjoyable. Having the peace of mind during nap times to sit outside and enjoy the scenery with a baby cam monitoring the bottom bunk was amazing. Everything was well taken care of and honestly worked perfectly. Mary and Joe made sure the trailer was fully stocked with everything we could need. We brought our camping bin we normally take on trips, but honestly didn’t need anything from it. Thanks again Mary and Joe!

4Mary and Joe were so communicative and accommodating. It was our 1st time renting so we weren't sure what to expect. It all went smoothly. The rig was very clean and nicely equiped. Joe delivered it, set it up, did a walk through and came back 3 days later and picked it up. So easy!
