"Drifter" - 5 Seatbelt Adventure Camper Van with Starlink

If we could give 10 stars we would. Our family of three rented Brian’s Sprinter van for our annual camping trip to Joshua tree and it did not disappoint. It is equipped with literally everything you could think of and more. 4WD, Fully equipped kitchen (plates/cookware) bedding, outdoor lights, stove, starlink, roof rack the list goes on. Plenty of thoughtfully labeled storage spaces. Easy to understand laminated instructions for all the features. Brian’s communication was on point before our trip to make sure we had everything we needed. You could add on paddle boards, bikes and cargo carrier. We’ll definitely rent from him again and highly recommend you do too. Thanks Brian!!!

The van came impressively well-equipped, with everything from kitchen essentials to camping gear already dialed in, which removes a lot of the guesswork that typically comes with van travel. What stands out most is how approachable the entire process feels. Whether you’re new to van life or a seasoned road-tripper, the onboarding is straightforward, and the vehicles themselves are built for ease—comfortable to drive, simple to set up, and versatile enough to handle everything. That flexibility is a huge part of the appeal, especially in a place like San Diego. Another highlight is the attention to detail. Unlike many rental setups that feel bare-bones, Brian leans into the experience side in a hardcore way! He stocked the van with thoughtful extras and offering add-ons like surfboards, bikes, and paddleboards. We upgraded and got the cargo carrier which was perfect for our stroller and keeping firewood outside the van. It creates a “show up and go” vibe that’s hard to overstate. You don’t feel like you’re renting a vehicle; you feel like you’re stepping into a pre-built adventure. Overall, Brian delivers exactly what modern travelers are looking for: a seamless, well-designed gateway into van life. It’s ideal for anyone who wants the freedom of the open road without sacrificing comfort or simplicity, and it leaves you with the feeling that the hardest part of the trip wasn’t the logistics…it was deciding where to go on the next trip, haha!

Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Drifter. From the start, Brian was super helpful and he answered all my questions, gave great recommendations on where to go, and just made the whole process feel easy and dialed. The van itself was next level. You can tell these builds are really thought through—everything had its place, super clean, and all the little details were already handled. No guessing, no scrambling… just grab your stuff and go. It made the whole trip feel effortless. What stood out the most is how dialed everything was. Power, storage, bed setup, kitchen—it all just worked. You don’t realize how big that is until you’ve dealt with a poorly set up rental before. We ended up having one of those trips where everything just flows, and a big part of that was having a van we didn’t have to think twice about. Brian genuinely cares about the experience you’re going to have, not just renting you a van. That shows. Would 100% rent this van again.
