Camp kitchen tableRecommendationsWe've been adventuring together in New England for over 25 years. We met in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where we worked and played before moving to Maine in 2004. Maine has been our home ever since and we're happy to be raising our family here.
We were married in Brooksville, a beautiful stop as you work your way up the coast to one of our favorite spots, the Bold Coast. If mountains are your vibe, head west to Carrabassett Valley, further west to the White Mountains or even a bit further to the Green Mountains. For mountain biking, check out Burke, Vermont. Into gravel grinding? Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument is the place to go. Acadia National Park: a must!Other things to noteSmoking or vaping? Seriously? No. Just no.The roof-top tent is high up and a little tricky to set up/breakdown. If you are afraid of heights, have restricted mobility, or are traveling to a new place daily, this is not the tent for you. It is best used when you are parked in one spot for a few nights. The bench seat has lap belts and comfortably fits older kids or smaller adults. Please note that the bench does not have shoulder belts so would not work with car seats or kids who require booster seats. We're hard working folks with kids to raise. We're renting this van with the hopes of getting more of you into the great outdoors. We hope you'll respect our van and our time. While we'll clean the rig top to bottom, we'd appreciate it if you consolidated trash, recyclables and compost, stripped the bed, and left dishes clean at the end of your trip.Pick-up/drop-off may need to be contactless depending on the days you rent. In the event that we can't be here, we will give you detailed instructions and be available by phone/FaceTime to answer questions. We'll also have a few instructional videos for you to use as a reference.

Dave and I met in the White Mountains of NH 20 years ago and we've been adventuring together ever since. Our greatest adventure to date has been parenting two thrill-seeking daughters. Before landing in our current suburban existences, Dave was a bear technician in Sequoia, rafting guide in the Adirondacks, Huts manager for the AMC and founding ED of Maine Huts and Trails. Meanwhile, London was summiting high peaks, like Mt Whitney and Rainier, traveling through Patagonia, Peru and New Zealand, skiing the East, and generally goofing off in the woods.

We had a wonderful trip enjoying the Fall colors exploring the coast of Maine. The van was very comfortable, easy to drive and park. The bed was comfortable and the van well stocked with everything we needed. London was fabulous. We can whole heartedly recommend the experience!

Great trip in the Camprr van. Really nicely equipped with details you'd only get from someone who has experience van camping.

My husband and I could not have had a better experience with the van. Dave and London were super easy to work with, clearly explaining everything beforehand making check-in and getting on the road easy!

The Camprrr delivered excellent service, and the van itself was in perfect condition! This was absolute value for money. The design of this van was perfect for us. The van contained everything we needed for a long weekend exploration of the Maine backwoods in Baxter State Park, and some fun camping. There is plenty of storage in the van, and features like the induction stove, sink the swiveling captain's seats and HEAT at night - everything was as it should be. Communication with the owner was detailed and timely, especially in the days before our rental began. Additional options were shared, such as the pop up roof tent, bike rack etc. All in all the Camprr van itself made this an excellent trip. Thank you!!

Q.We want to go to Acadia. We've heard there are some historic, low bridges there. Will we fit?
A.
The height of the van is 10 feet + 6 inches for the rack/solar panels. You can clear bridges with an 11 foot minimum restriction.
Do not use Stanley Brook Road, which has a 10’4” minimum.
If you are taking the add-on roof-top tent to Acadia, please let us know, so we can help you figure out which bridges to avoid.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
With enough notice, pick-up and drop offs times can be flexible between 7am and 7pm. We are fully employed outside of the home and while we would love to give each and every one of you a personal tour, there may come a time when we need to arrange for contactless pick-up or drop-off. In those cases, we will be available by phone or FaceTime for any questions.
Q.Can we bring our dog?
A.
Sorry, no. We love dogs, but camping can (and should be) be a messy adventure. Dogs add more to the cleaning/turn over process than we can handle. Fortunately, there are plenty of great other vans on Outdoorsy that do allow dogs!
