When it comes to the United States, there aren’t many more interesting states to visit than Florida. Kissimmee brings an extremely entertaining twist to Florida with its great location that makes it a hot spot for fabulous vacations. When you book an RV in Kissimmee, it’s an amazing way to experience all of the rich experiences that this exciting area of Florida has to offer. With an abundance of restaurants, shopping, amusement parks, and glorious views of nature, Kissimmee is a beautiful city that has something for everyone. While “the happiest place on Earth” of Disney World may be the most well-known part of this area, there are plenty of lakes and nature to enjoy as well. The city of Orlando is close by, only a 35-minute drive from town. You can also check out the more relaxed atmosphere of Saint Cloud, only 20 minutes to the south. If you want to park the Kissimmee RV rental and have a change of pace, the Lynx bus system is an easy way to get around the area, too. Choosing to rent an RV in Kissimmee is a simple solution to both lodging and mobility on your RV rental vacation.
The Great Outdoors
Before you get caught up in the various amusement parks in the area, take a moment to take advantage of the rich natural areas that made this region the perfect place for all the entertainment. Get out on the water and enjoy Lake Tohopekaliga, or Lake Toho as the locals call it, for a gorgeous lake that covers over 18,000 acres. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a riverside meal or walk along the trails that run along its banks. To the east, you can find East Lake Toho for a slightly smaller spot that feeds off of Boggy Creek and has some great fishing opportunities.
Another beautiful way to see the trails along the water is the Kissimmee Lakefront Park, where you can see the diverse animals of the area as well as enjoy a nice lakeside stroll. The Monument of States is a creative landmark in the area that highlights the unity of America in sculptural form.
Eventually, however, we all want to leave the tame and visit the more wild area to get a true feel for the area and that’s where spots like the Shingle Creek Regional Park really shine. Here you can see the Kissimmee wilderness and perhaps traverse the 32-mile trail that runs around the park.
The Disney Wilderness Preserve is another gorgeous area where you can explore all the beauty of nature that resides in this area, on the edge of Florida’s Everglades. You could also head over to Osceola Schools Environmental Study Center for an in-depth educational look into the wildlife along with some nice trails. When you rent a motorhome in Kissimmee, it gives you so many opportunities to relax and get back to nature, especially if you enjoy camping and fishing.
With its proximity to Orlando, your options for where to park your Kissimmee rental RV in the area are pretty much limitless. No matter what you are looking to enjoy, there is a place close by where you can rest and make the most of the next day.
Take a look at Kissimmee RV Park for a location that puts you right in the middle of things while still giving you a relaxing atmosphere. You can find a Walmart right around the corner and multiple amusement parks a short distance away.
Over at Ponderosa RV Park, you will enjoy a quaint stay with pleasant hosts. Located off the highway across from a Osceola Heritage Park, you have a beautiful backdrop and easy access to the many shops, restaurants, and events in the area. Aloha RV Park is also worth a look with tons of spots for RVs.
A camper rental in Kissimmee is an exercise in convenience thanks to all the options that you have for parking. Try the Mill Creek RV Resort for a beautiful scenic retreat. The site is gorgeous with terrific amenities making this a great place to relax, and is an oasis in the middle of solid shopping, restaurants and amusement.
Take your Kissimmee rental RV over to Boggy Creek Resort and RV Park for a beautiful stay that also caters to those who enjoy a nice fishing spot. This magnificent rustic park is a relaxing place to return to after an adventurous day at the local parks.

Fort Wilderness is one of the best places to stay if you want a clean, well maintained campground with a TON of family friendly activities! We'd love to help you get the most out of your stay here!
This is a great place to stay, wether visiting the Disney theme parks or just camping. So much to do here, who needs the parks? We will gladly deliver our camper here for you, so no need to tow.
Of course a visit to Orlando wouldn’t be complete without a trip to Disney, SeaWorld or Universal Studios. We are close to all of these attractions and can recommend good campgrounds in the area.
Check ahead, but usually you can stay overnight. Food is great but a bit slow, so relax and enjoy.
This is a relatively new campground. I haven't camped there but it looks really nice.
It is a great place to take the kids or even to go with out the kids. Is a magical place.

Great place to stay even if you are not going to Disney. If you are going to one of the Disney parks it is very convenient with a boat ride over to the entrance of the park. A great pool!

This is a great place to have fun and enjoy life. transportation is supplied thru out the park. Lots and Lots of fun things to do and see. Keeps the little ones busy. Don't forget your bicycles.
Disney Ft Wilderness is a blast. Spotless community bathrooms, tons of outdoor activities, pool, arcade, nightly campfire and movie. Be sure to bring your golf cart or you can rent one there
It's the only place other than Las Vegas where adults get to feel like children again!
Fun activities, great restaurants, easy access to the parks.
Great place for kids, after all it is Disney and they spare no expense at making this campground look amazing.
Camping at Disney is the best! So much to do great food and the kids are occupied the whole time.
It is a dream come true and a trip that all kids should have the chance to take. An RV would just make the trip allot more fun.
What's not to like? You are technically staying at a Disney Resort and you get an arm band but for an RV park they roll out the red carpet and treat you like a king for a very reasonable price.
