Visitors learn the history of previous missions and the brave astronauts that made them possible, along with information about current and future missions to distant planets. Future plans include journeys to Mars, the asteroid belt, and even beyond the galaxy. The space center also include a gallery of video and interactive media that includes various media from recent and ongoing NASA missions, many of which are available for educational and public use.
You can be within minutes of shopping centers and major attractions and still enjoy the Florida wildlife. From your RV site watch cranes, herons, eagles, hawks, Sherman's fox squirrels and turkeys. The weather is consistently sunny, and many tall palms trees on the property provide ample shaded areas for outdoor activities. The park regularly hosts communal events like outdoor cookouts and card playing nights, and the breezy, cool clubhouse is also available for larger parties and private gatherings. Enjoy indoor activities that include board games, pool tables, and even a Wii gaming system. The site is equipped with a long wooden walkway and dock that extends out into the water, suited to fishing, swimming, photo opportunities, or aquatic transportation. Feel free to bring your canoe or kayak, ideal watercraft for exploring the nearby shoreline and other local nature preserves, such as Country Cove and the Turkey Creek Sanctuary.
