4.0The RV did not match the pictures on the app. It was much more worn and torn than the pics showed. It was not super clean to begin with. The host was friendly but did not have great communication leading up to the event. There were several messages that went days without a response that made the experience less than perfect.

1.0Do NOT rent from this person! The RV in the pictures is NOT the RV you will be renting. The RV was dirty when we picked it up. Leon did a good quick job in explaining the RV, while he also explained what other renters broke. My husband and I couldn't understand the smell. When we almost reached our destination we were able to park near our daughter and she loaned us her cleaning supplies to clean the entire inside of the RV, which included the screens bc they were so filthy dusty and we cleaned the windows (inside and out) that we couldn't see through. Three buckets of dirty water later the smell was gone and the grit was off our fingers. We couldn't turn the heat on bc there was a tiny black plug in the thermostat. Once we figured that out and removed it we had heat. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Two people could not sleep on it, as the dip in the middle was so deep we kept rolling into each other. So we, unfortunately, had to sleep separately. For the rest of the week, had to be sure to sleep on one side or the other of the mattress because I would roll into the deep pit. There was no privacy curtain to separate the bed from the rest of the RV. The bathroom shower door is disgusting gross and it was broken! The curtain for privacy that is usually hooked up separating the cab from the RV would not stay hooked, we had to tuck it under the mattress. The floor of the RV has stains all over it and one very large black stain. The doors to the storage outside the RV kept opening when we drove back - he blamed this on us bc we didn't lock them - silly us. They were obviously broken because we couldn't get them closed all week. This is not our first RV rental (4th), this was the worst. Oh yeah, one roll of toilet paper. Good thing we were near our daughter who could rescue us. Covid was three years ago... you can supply toilet paper when you know people are coming in from New Jersey and will be camping 2 hours away from the closest grocery store! We didn't even think about looking to see if there was more than the one roll!! We ran out of propane after 3 days and had to drive 1.5 hrs to get a fill up. How do you run out of propane in 3 days? We drove all over Alaska in a bigger RV with 6 people for 8 days, did more cooking and had the heat on and never ran out of propane. Leon told us the RV was not his, it was his boss' who has three of them he rents. Did he pass on the report we gave him? Other than the RV we had a really nice time visiting and seeing Sequoia National Park. Everyone should take the opportunity to visit the sites and hike! One more thing....Leon does not call you back right or answer text message away. Very frustrating.
