Camping at Cloudland Canyon State Park

Alternatively, guests can choose to stay in one of Cloudland Canyon's yurts or cabins.

This campground offers several activities for campers to enjoy when they're not exploring the surrounding area, including swimming, hiking, and outdoor games. Then, you'll travel through a tunnel that will take you to the museum founded by the National Railway Historical Society in 1960. You can stroll through the museum to learn about the significance of the railroad in Chattanooga and the surrounding communities.
Stop in at the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, just over a half-hour from Cloudland Canyon State Park. This is the site of two major battles Civil War battles: the Battle of Chickamauga and the Chattanooga Campaign. The park houses national monuments and a museum for history buffs to enjoy.
