3The RV was good. The internal accommodations were acceptable, the bedding, tvs, remotes and other accessories were very useful and helpful. The issue we experienced seems to stem from the RV itself, it needs some serious maintenance as the shocks and the brakes are completely worn out. A lot of the trimming inside the RV is falling apart or has clear water damage. The check engine light came on when we reached our destination along with the DEF filter. It seems there is a broken sensor in the emissions line. We followed the manual and filled it with DEF as instructed but the issue is mechanical (another maintenance issue). The same thing occurred with the awning. There is a large hole in the structure.

3We were really excited for our first RV adventure, and while the rig itself was very nice, well-equipped, and spacious, we did run into some challenges that put a damper on the early part of our trip. About three hours into driving, shortly after filling up with gas, multiple warning lights popped up on the dash — including the check engine light and low coolant. This caused a lot of stress and uncertainty, especially as first-time RV renters. We immediately contacted the host, who responded quickly and connected us with Outdoorsy’s maintenance support. However, after that, we never heard back from the host again for the remainder of our trip. The Outdoorsy support team wasn’t as responsive as we’d hoped — telling us they’d call back in 15 minutes but taking over an hour. Ultimately, they told us it might just be a sensor issue or that we may need to add DEF, but it wasn’t clear. We ended up purchasing DEF ourselves just to feel safe driving, though we had no idea how much was needed. The constant dash warnings and confusion caused a lot of anxiety and led us to change some of our travel plans just to be cautious. There were also issues with understanding how to use certain features. The orange bag referenced in the listing didn’t have a manual, just loose paperwork. The seven instructional videos provided weren’t specific to this rig and didn’t cover some important setup aspects like the stabilizers. As first-timers, we had to rely heavily on Google and guesswork to figure things out. Thankfully, after the first few days, things settled down and we were able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Again, the RV itself was well-stocked and comfortable, and had these issues not happened, it would have been a fantastic experience. We’re sharing this feedback in hopes that future renters — especially those new to RVing — have a smoother start. We'd also appreciate some follow-up from the host and Outdoorsy, as the situation early on really impacted our plans and peace of mind.
