2015 FORD TRANSIT 250
Ford Transit 250 converted to a Camper Van that puts you a tier above minimalist camping. Car stereo has been upgraded with Apple and Android Play. The bed stows neatly into a little twin size sofa, and pulls out into a nearly Queen size bed. Equipped with a mini fridge, 10 gallons of fresh water (not heated), 2-burner propane stove, diesel heater, and 400 Watts of solar power feeding a 1000W inverter power center to provide the juice to your thirstiest devices (under 600w per outlet at a time please). A pull-out awning is mounted on the rear of the van to provide a hangout spot with shade on those hot, sunny days. What's includedFresh linens, 2 foldout camping chairs and table, 2 garbage bags, Jet Boil Coffee Press (and coffee), a mini propane tank, and a full tank in the diesel heater. If you need the “To Go” bathroom, we include 2 toilet bags, and 2 packs of poo gel, and a fold out toilet and tent for privacy. If you have a bike, we’ll throw in the bike rack and some bungee cords but renter will be responsible for securing their bike.RecommendationsTravel to Utah or the San Juans for some mountain biking or hiking, or head to Glenwood springs for some snowboarding. Or park it next to a nice river or lake and get some good fishing in! Either way, this van is perfect for a several day adventure out into the wild. This is a sign it's time to escape the day to day and do something different!Other things to noteThe van's suspension has not been upgraded in any way. This van is not meant to be taken through super rough terrain that may puncture tires, bend axles, or anything of that sort. Please be respectful about where you take it. A/C is in the driving area of the van, not in the living area (there is a ceiling fan and you can run van A/C to cool the living area with the van running). The diesel heater will provide approximately 16 hours of heat on low with the included full tank (the van stays very warm in freezing temperatures on the lowest heater setting). An additional diesel fuel container can be included at additional cost. Sunlight will charge the power center, but van is equipped with a backup inverter to charge the power center while the van is running if sunlight is unavailable. If the power center is overloaded or overheats from the internal van temp being too hot, it will turn itself off. Power center and diesel heater operation will be explained on pickup and if there are additional questions on any of the van’s amenities, don't hesitate to ask.
