Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can offer early pickup and/or late drop-off times for an additional $50 respectively. We're open to working with you to fit your trip's scheduling!
Q.
Can I take the van outside or Michigan or on longer trips?
A.
Yes! If you have a long trip in mind, please just reach out with more information. We will work with you to custom-quote your trip so we can make it more affordable given the extended time and distance of your trip.
Q.
How does the power/electric system work?
A.
When plugged into an external power source (aka 'shore power'), the van has typical household-style 110v outlets to use. However, when the van is NOT plugged into shore power, these 110v outlets become inactive. When not plugged in, the van is only being powered by its cabin battery. At this point, built-in electric features such as cabin lights, the ceiling vent fan, and the 12v charging ports will receive electric power. This is standard in RVs to conserve the battery.
