Have you ever wondered what living in a skoolie would be like? Intrigued by the idea of bus conversions, but can’t do a conversion yourself? Here is your chance, my road-tripping friends. Wanderbussed has been built with renters in mind. My husband and I converted a cargo van in 2015, rented out a class C RV for a year in 2020, and have been hand-building this bus conversion ourselves since late winter ‘21.It is Fully equipped with a couch/benches-to-bed (king-size with four cushions), AC (when plugged into “shore power” (30amp) at a campground), heat, MaxxAir ceiling fans, shower w/ hot & cold, large countertop and large sink with hot & cold, mini-refrigerator, storage areas, stove top w/ 3 gas (propane) burners, pots & pans/plates/bowls/cups/utensils/cooking gear, luxury bed linens, pillows, organic cotton towels, all-natural hand & dish soap. There is a cassette toilet for those middle of the night emergencies ;) There is a freshwater holding tank and a grey water dump tank (shower & sink water). No black tank to empty! We rent to non-smokers. We don’t want to expose ourselves or our other renters to second- or third-hand smoke. Absolutely zero-tolerance for any type of smoking inside the bus including cigarettes, vaping of any kind, smoking pot, or recreational drugs. We have a child with an airway disorder that has landed him in the ICU; and we really appreciate your understanding and cooperation as to why this rule is so important to us.We will be leaving a few days in between each rental for Covid precautions and proper cleaning. You should rent our rig because life is short, adventure is out there waiting for you, and now is your chance to travel in a skoolie! What's includedFrom the driver seat to the window sills, everything is cleaned and prepped for you: fresh linens, pillows, towels, wash cloths, hand towels, dish towels, dish soap, hand soap, sponge, scrubber, over-the-sink rack to dry dishes, mini dustpan w/ hand broom, dust-buster vacuum, 3-burner stove top hooked up to propane tank, on-demand hot water heater, hose to attach to drain grey water, rigid orange hose to fill water reservoir, mini fridge w/ small freezer, storage under cabinet, storage above driver seat, storage under bed, cooking: plates, bowls, cups, utensils, cooking utensils, pots& pans w/ lids, lighter, strainer, peeler, can/bottle opener, tv, DVD player, medicine cabinet, maxxair fans with remotes, clear plastic shelf above bed to set phone/wallet, outlet plugs, microwave, storage closet with rod for hangers, air conditioner w/ remote, cabinet for small belongings, ‘extras’ for fun or rainy days, cassette toilet for emergencies (urine only), shower w/removable head sprayer, black out curtains in front and back, opaque curtains over bus door, switches for lights, switch to empty grey water.RecommendationsYou’ll get the most out of any RV when plugged into power at a campground. When the bus has 30 amp service, you can use all the amenities (A/C, microwave, heater, tv, fridge). The awesome part about Wanderbussed is we have a solar panel, inverter, battery system that will allow you to use some appliances when off-grid/boondocking.We recommend anything your heart is calling you to do! Go to the top of a mountain, camp at an urban campground, drive an hour south to center your mind and find peace for the weekend.Other things to noteOur life journeys have led us to building this skoolie and we want to share it with the world. We want to spark life, adventure, and self-care in others.Just to reiterate, no smoking of any kind, and we want to rent to non-smokers. Thanks so much for understanding. Also, a cassette toilet is one that is truly just for the times you can’t make it to a bathroom. You have to carry the portable, detachable tank into a bathroom to empty it. Please empty before returning. Thanks so much!

We are so excited to share Wanderbussed the Skoolie with others! We have worked so hard to make this bus into the best glamping-meets-school bus experience ever! Aaron works hard as a nurse for our family of 4 (& doggo makes 5). Renting out our beloved bus is mama’s income and I am proud to make it great for others. Can’t wait to get you on the road!

We rented The Wanderbus Skoolie from Aaron and Caroline for a quick weekend retreat at Hidden Paradise campgroup. Firstly, the Wunderbus itself is expertly crafted and meet all of our basic needs and more! Aaron and Caroline put together a fantastic video that we could quickly-easily reference once we were set up at camp. The Skooklie was well equipped and the AC unit kept everything very comfortable the entire trip. Speaking of comfort, the bed was very generous and gave my 6'1" husband plenty of head and foot room. Everything worked as it should, stove, fridge, ac, etc. We didn't use the restroom or shower as the campground had those, but it was nice to know we could be fully equipped if needed. If you are looking for a small footprint rv or want to experience your own Skoolie, this is the one!

Aaron & Caroline’s answer

Stacy, renting to you and Wes was an absolute delight. You definitely treated our rig as your own and we so appreciate that. Thank you so much for giving Wanderbussed a chance. We are so glad you had a great time renting it!
