Frequently asked questions

Q.

Does the RV fridge run on electricity? Do I need to have shore power or generator running to power the fridge?

A.

The fridge in this RV is dual-source, it run of either electricity or propane. The fridge is set to automatically choose how it operates (Auto mode) so you don't need to turn on the generator or connect to outside (shore) power as long as the propane tank is not empty.

Q.

I am camping off-grid, how do I use the water system in the RV?

A.

When camping off-grid, water in the RV is supplied from the internal 35gal tank. To get water to flow, turn on Water Pump - the switches are located on the main Utility Control panel in the master bedroom, on the right wall of the bathroom stall, OR in the Cargo Compartment 2 on the white metal panel. Water Pump switch will light up when it's On.

Q.

How do I turn on Hot water?

A.

1. Make sure you are connected to the outside water supply or, if off-grid, your water pump is on. 2. Make sure your propane tank valve is set to Open. Propane tank is located in Compartment 6 under the slide-out. 3. Turn on Water Heater - switch is located on the Utility Control Panel in the bedroom. 4. Wait 5-10min for the water to heat up - 6gal water heater runs on propane and works fairly fast.

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

Utility connections are in Compartment 2: 1. Electrical - use black cable with a large 30A plug to connect to RV power outlet. If outlet is a standard 20A 120V, use the black/green adapter. 2. Water - connect outside water line to the brass down spout on white service panel. NOTE: turn Water Pump OFF when connecting to city water. 3. Sewer connection for Black and Grey tanks - dump spout and hose are in Compartment 3. Unscrew floor cover and cap, connect hose, attach spout and put it into drain.

I got into RVing a few years ago. Since then we've visited several National Parks as well as many State Parks in Oregon and Washington. I hope to help you enjoy seeing the great outdoors with our RV.
