Here’s a balanced review you could post: James was a great host throughout the trip. He was responsive, well organized, and communication was smooth from start to finish. The trip itself was amazing, and the vehicle setup is generally very well suited for camping and outdoor adventures. That said, there were a few issues with the vehicle and equipment that affected the experience. The vehicle was quite noisy, and Apple CarPlay was unreliable, disconnecting roughly every 20 minutes regardless of the phone or cable used, which suggests an issue with the media system. The camping equipment is showing its age, and some items need maintenance. For example, the storage bin latches were broken, causing us to lose a bin cover during the trip, and we were unfortunately charged for it. We also noticed cigarette burn holes in the seats, and the headlights were incorrectly adjusted, pointing too high and causing other drivers to flash us repeatedly until we corrected the alignment ourselves. Overall, James was an excellent host and the trip was memorable, but the vehicle and camping equipment would benefit from some maintenance and updates to match the quality of the hosting experience.

Renting with James was seamless and an overall great experience. He’s incredibly responsive, accommodating, and his jeeps are well-equipped, well-stocked, and well-maintained. I will absolutely be renting from him again. Thanks, James!

Incredible experience renting with James. The vehicle and car tent set up were top notch. The camping equipment was in great shape and such a huge benefit to jsut fly in and everything be ready for you to go. Would 1000% recommend using James and his trucks for your next trip out to the desert and beyond.

If you're wanting to travel around and explore the national parks in Utah... this is the way to go. The jeep was great and our host was awesome as well! We had a blast and will definitely do it again!
