Frequently asked questions
Q.
How does the shower work?
A.
The shower and toilet are hidden in the cabinets near the front of the van. To access the it, you open up all of the cabinet doors and lift the countertop up (it latches into place). It includes a small hot water heater for warm showers, a fan for ventilation and a shower curtain that attaches to hooks up top for privacy when showering. Aside from that, it's pretty much a normal shower!
Q.
How does the toilet work?
A.
The shower and toilet are hidden in the cabinets near the front of the van. To access the it, you open up all of the cabinet doors and lift the countertop up (it latches into place). The toilet is a Nature's Head composting toilet. Search "Nature's Head Composting Toilet" on YouTube if you're curious about how it works! Fair warning – since the "bathroom" area isn't fully enclosed, there isn't much privacy for the toilet area.
Q.
How do I get to your location (driving)?
A.
We're located around I-225 and I-70 in Aurora. If you're driving in, we have extra parking spots in our parking lot that you can use. There are security cameras on the premise, but note that we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your vehicle while in the parking lot. We're also very close to the Peoria Station Park and Ride RTD – which often has security guards on duty – and are more than happy to meet you there.
Q.
How do I get to your location (flying into DIA)?
A.
We are very close to Denver International Airport. We're located right by the Peoria light rail (train) station, which is the first stop from the airport and the light rail super easy to take. We can meet you right at the station! Alternatively, Uber/Lyft from the airport to our location (or vice versa) is typically $20-$30.
