2019 Mercedes Metris Pop-Top
Located in Kona on the beautiful island of Hawaii (The Big Island), Honoli’i is one of Campervan Hawaii’s Mercedes Metris pop-top campervans with seating for 5 and is great for cruising around the island. It is one of our favorite campervans in the fleet and features a rear seat that easily converts to a queen bed at night and a pop-top which opens up to allow you to stand up inside the van and also has another 2 person bed up top. It has a 50qt refrigerator, a large shade awning, a 3” Tempurpedic mattress on the lower bed, swiveling front seats, bug screen for the rear hatch, roof vent fan, 120V AC outlets, 12V USB outlets, blackout curtains, surfboard racks, 3 gallon portable “Rinse Kit” shower, and a stereo with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.Arriving:
Our standard check-in time is 3:00PM. If available, you may be able to checkin sooner for an additional fee of $10/hr should you want your campervan earlier than 3:00PM. Let us know if you would like early check-in and we will try and accommodate you but it is not guaranteed. We are located at 73-4195 Hulikoa Dr which is around 4 miles south of the Kona (KOA) airport. The best way of getting there is by using a rideshare like Uber or Lyft and alternatively there are taxis but they tend to be more expensive. Once there, we will go over the campervan with you, teach you how to use it, answer any questions you might have and will get you on the road.Camping:

"We started renting campervans out of our love for being on the road and sleeping in a different spot every night and are excited to share our favorite way to travel with other outdoor and van life enthusiasts. We’ve been exploring the mainland by van for over 20 years and love the freedom it provides. After our last extended vacation in our mainland home-on-wheels we realized it would be a great way to explore these island gems of Hawai'i! When home is where you park it, there are more hours to play the day away!"

Resting the RV was the best decision we have made on a vacation! The freedom of camping on the Big Island was an adventure and a wonderful way to experience the Island and island life first hand. The people of Hawaii were kind and sweet and we had no trouble finding places to stay with the Metris. Thanks Matt for being super kind and helpful while we were on the island.

Absolutely amazing experience! Matt checked us in and gave us a great tour of the van before we were off. Spent the next 5 days exploring the Big Island and adventuring around with my 2 friends. The van was AWESOME!! We all want to buy our own now. Spacious, comfortable, and totally decked out! Matt made sure we had everything we needed well before we arrived -- beds, blankets, pillows, chairs + table, towels (beach AND bath), cooking tools, fridge, flashlights, headlamps, first aid kit...the WORKS! We didn't need to purchase anything at all. We were also surprised to find it had a shower AND a pop-out awning! Matt was also quick to communicate whenever we needed anything. Honestly, a fantastic experience. Will definitely be back for another adventure!

This was such a rad vehicle!! We camped for a week all over the big island and this van was perfect for our family. It was so comfortable and so well stocked- we’d rent it again in a heartbeat!
