Our trip was great! Joel was very thorough with making sure the RV was filled with the items we might need. The RV is amazing. We got compliments on how cute it was lol. Perfect size for two adults who get along haha. We had to squeeze by each other quite a bit, but that’s a minor thing. We used full hookups and had a good experience with that. The RV tows very well. We didn’t have any issues with it. Just have to make sure you have a good hitch for it. 10/10. Would recommend.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Please reach out to me ahead of time, I can be flexible in most situations. Current pick up time is 2 pm and drop off time is 12 pm. This allows some time for me to get the RV ready for the next client. However, if there are no other clients renting before or after your dates, I can have some flexibility with the times.

Q.

For delivery service, what times can the RV trailer be dropped off and picked up?

A.

Mon-Fri: Delivery is after 6:00 PM and Pick-up is after 5:30 PM (due to my work schedule). I recommend booking your site for the night so the trailer is ready for your arrival! Sat-Sun: Flexible! I am available for early drop-offs (starting at 8:00 AM) and various pick-up times throughout the day. Please confirm your campground's check-in/out policies to ensure they allow for evening arrivals on weekdays.

Q.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

A.

This NoBo features independent suspension. This means it handles gravel and bumpy backroads much better than standard trailers. When taking turns, 'swing wide' to give that suspension plenty of room to clear the curb. Make sure door is closed all the way and locked, make sure awning is retracted and do a once or twice walk around before towing the trailer. Turn off inverter if you don't need the 110 power for the outlets, my pressure and holding the power button.

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

For Electric, plug the shore power cord into the site pedestal (or use the built-in Anker system for off-grid silent power). For Water, connect your hose to the city water inlet. Make sure the water pump is turned off. For Sewage, connect the slinky hose to the waste outlet and the site drain. Then remove and place slinky hose to the gray water tank and drain to help wash out hose.

I’ve always believed that the best memories are made off the beaten path. I’m a technical support specialist by trade, so I’m naturally obsessed with the "how" and "why" of great gear—which is why I’ve outfitted "Little Bigfoot" (my 2024 NoBo 16.1) to be the ultimate off-grid basecamp. Whether you’re heading to a state park for the weekend or boondocking deep in the woods, my goal is to make sure you have everything you need to focus on the campfire, not the equipment. I’m a huge advocate for silent, solar-powered camping (no noisy generators here!) and I’m always happy to share tips on how to maximize your off-grid experience. When I’m not prepping the rig for guests, you’ll find me exploring with my two dogs, the "Spice Girls" (Churro and Canela). I can’t wait to help you get your next adventure started!
