Dillon Family’s answer

Hey Jeff! I am sorry that your trip was impacted by the issue with the state troopers. As I stated, the vehicle is registered properly insured for the state and the circumstances were just unfortunate as Iowa seems to have very strict laws. There is nothing I could have done differently since you did not contact me at all until after the fact. Although the distribution bars were in fact missing, the sway bar hitch which was in the storage cubby during your trip and has been used since your rental so I am unsure as to why the camper salesman told you it was broken. I was unaware of the spare tire issue and the brake away cable before the trailer left so we have authorized the resolutions team to issue a partial refund and have already replaced these parts. The refund should be headed your way soon
