Our 2021 model Minnie Winnie 26T is a dreamy National Park cruiser with four sleeping surfaces including a real bedroom in back, upgraded safety features and a new for the model year engine with 30-40% better gas mileage from their 2020 model. Everything you need to pick up and go is included and explained in detail. This new model is a hit and people at campgrounds regularly offer to buy it but we love it too much to let it go. Happy to answer pre-booking questions by message or over the phone or meet up for viewing ahead if desired.—Vehicle Upgrades & Safety Features—
Safety in an RV is a combination of how you drive, how everyone else drives, and the features of your vehicle. Our RV features six safety belts for back seat passengers for flexible seating that is still buckled and there is a floor anchor for a car seat as well. Our rv also features an air shock suspension system in back for better handling along with all the latest driving safety features including a lane keep system, side mirror cameras, a back-up camera, driver alert features and an anti-lock brake system. Aftermarket anti-sway bars (front and back) were installed in late 2021. If you don’t know what these are for, these are the things that help your vehicle handle better in turns and not get pushed around so much on the road by semi trucks passing by or wind. This is important when you’re driving a vehicle that’s long and tall but not as long and tall as the things driving next to you. They also help with motion sickness issues for sensitive back passengers.
We opted in for both factory and aftermarket improvements totaling almost $30,000 over base model with $10,000 of aftermarket upgrades and additions after. These including auto-leveling jacks (your house levels itself with the press of a button), upgraded headlights, a $10,000 full paint job and a $1,000 cell phone signal repeater system that works with all major carriers. We also replaced a frosted door window with a clear one with a shade so that you can see who is knocking on your door at night. It doesn’t look like a rental or drive like a rental and after the first few times you set up camp you’ll feel like a pro if you’re not one already.-Rules-
We limit bookings to being for four folks total with no smoking, pets, festivals or extended gravel or dirt road driving. Any rv spot at a campground, state or national park is fine!
What's includedWe try to include everything you need to go camping! This means kitchen and cooking equipment, dishes and silverware, sheets and towels, paper products, a coffee maker, and all the things you need to operate the RV as well as road hazard and emergency equipment! We also have a number of optional items available at no cost to you including a $500 rv-specific bike rack, screen house (Clam), camp chairs, outdoor side tables, and more! Some people like to bring their own and some want to enjoy our things! We will ask ahead to do this how you like it.RecommendationsThe Grand Canyon is amazing but your fondest memories may come from the state parks just a few hours drive away and the frog you found there. Spend more time doing, less time driving to get somewhere if you have limited time and plan more time than you think you need to get there.Other things to noteOur RV is spacious and contains seatbelts in front for and in back at the table and couch. There are eight seatbelts in total including a car seat floor tether point at the rear table BUT rental is for a maximum of four folks due to kitchen and holding tank sizes and the fact that a few of the beds are short!Again, we limit bookings to four people total with no pets, smoking, festivals or off-road driving and there is a mileage charge for excessive mileage so people don’t rent an rv as a cheap moving van!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

How many folks can fit on this reservation? I noticed there are eight seat belts!

A.

We limit guests to a maximum of 4 folks total. The available storage and tank sizes for this coach make this the best fit that also lets us keep everything nice and maintained for our family and our renters.

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Pickup is 3:00 pm on your first rental day and Drop-Off is anytime before 8:00 pm on your final rental day. Times listed in US Central Time. Rental time extensions may be available depending on circumstances. If you think you would want one, please let us know as soon as possible so we can see if it is possible to work it out.

Q.

My trip is mostly many hours of driving and I need to leave at 6am and return at midnight to make my timeline work!

A.

If your rental requires an exceptionally early departure time and many hundreds of miles traveled per day every day of your trip on a tight timeline, we will not be the right fit for you. This coach is a scenic camping and park visiting leisure vehicle, not a quick mode of cross country transit. We planned this sort of trip once and were stressed, disappointed and perpetually too late to enjoy any of it. Our plan would have been fairly easy with a car and motel rooms!

We are a family of adventurers happy to help you make memories as well! We enjoy heading to local, state, and national parks and points of interest on long and short trips. A few times a year, we drive to a coast for vacation or to see family! On a super personal note - I had a total mastectomy right before the pandemic started - the RV became our way to make memories without taking risks for my health and we feel so fortunate to be able to have such a wonderful opportunity. We don't rent it out much and aren't smokers, don't let pets in it, and do not live in it. When you rent from us, you rent from folks who are happy to spend time explaining things so you can have a wonderful trip as well. You'll also enjoy thousands of dollars worth of safety and convenience features not commonly found on rental RVs including the most powerful cell signal booster available on the planet and professionally-installed stabilizer bars that make our RV drive more like a truck and less like a big old moving van that leans when it goes around corners. It is our strong opinion that no RV should be driven by an inexperienced RV driver without these features!
