"The Summer Wind" is a beautiful rig. She is a Mercedes chassis Diesel Winnebago which makes her affordable to drive. There are 3 sleeping areas (all double - sized not Queen) - the "bedroom" at the back, the dinette area that folds down - foam topper available , and the over cab bed . Loads of storage space for all your adventure gear and fully outfitted with all the cooking equipment you could need, just let us know what you want at no extra fees- insta-pot, bbq, propane fire pit, chairs, even an ice maker if you want it, french press for coffee, an outdoor rug, coleman stove.. She has an electrical inverter which means you have access to some power without the noisy generator being on - such a blessing. The dining area is roomy and especially comfortable when you are on level ground and you can put the slide is put out. She has good ventilation'/ heating and air conditioning - if you have shore power/ generator/ very good lighting - each sleeping area has reading lights. 2 TV's tons of DVD's for those rainy days. just ask - we want to do everything we can to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible! WE ONLY ALLOW FOR TRAVEL WITHIN CANADA. The Provincial Camping booking system opens March 9 - you can book 2 months out. There are some awesome areas within easy access - Revestoke - try Blanket Creek or Martha Creek camp grounds, Plum Hollow is a beautiful private campground on Arrow Lake, Nakusp has many sites - great access to the hotsprings there, Nelson/ Kimberley or go to the south Okanagan - Cawston- wine touring, have dinner at Row 14 at Klippers Organics- boon dock in the orchard or head over on the ferry to Vancouver Island and all the beauty that that area has to offer . The Rocky Mountains / Banff / Canmore- other areas to consider OR just drive up the lake to Fintry or down to Summerland for beautiful waterfront provincial camp grounds.
