2020 Venter Super 6
The Venter Super 6 is a lightweight, South African built, utility trailer that has been upfitted with a quality Rhino Rack crossbar system supporting a Treeline Joshua Rooftop Tent (RTT)!At just over 200kg empty this trailer can be towed by just about any vehicle with a 2 inch ball and 4 pin connector and when unhooked can be easily moved around by hand making it easy to situate perfectly at the campsite. The Treeline Joshua sets up in minutes and offers a nearly queen sized mattress (95"x55"). The tent sleeps two people comfortably, but two adults and a small child could also fit. If you have always wondered what those tents on peoples roofs are like, this is your opportunity to give it a try!A roof top tent offers advantages to a typical ground tent such as:
- Quick Setup
- Elevated off the ground, avoiding critters
- Level and even sleeping surface, with a comfortable mattress
- Remain dry even in the worst weather
- The above benefits without taking away from the classic tenting experienceThe trailer itself has plenty of storage space for all your camping gear and comes equipped with a couple bins of firewood (enough for approx. 4 - 6 hours). The trailer also contains wheel chocks, and stabilizing jacks.Feel free to reach out, we are always happy to answer any questions! Here is a video provided by Treeline regarding tent setup:

*Note there are some differences which we can go over at pickup. What's includedBasic price includes:
- Mattress cover
- 2x bins of firewood (enough for approx. 4-6 hours) - Unless there is a local fire ban.
- Basic Coleman CoolerPlease see add-ons for the following:Kitchen Kit
- Stove, pot, pan, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cutlery, wash bucket, soap, and scrubber
- Fuel for stove available at a competative price for convenienceFolding Chairs (2 available)
- 225lb capacityOutland Propane Fire Pit
- Can be used during most fire bans.
- Note: renter must supply their own propane tank with Type 1 fitting (the large, coarse, external threads). A 20lb cylinder should last 8 - 10 hours. Renter is responsible to ensure tank is transported according to regulation and as such transporting in the trailer is not permittedUpgraded Cooler
- Replaces basic cooler included in price
- Similar volume but has significanly improved insulating qualities
- Recommended for extended trips, or warmer weatherRecommendationsThe Okanagan is filled with many beautiful Provincial Parks and Rec Sites, including Fintry Provincial Park or Evely rec site, both just minutes from the pickup location! Bear Creek Provincial Park is also just a 20 minute drive away.We have camped quite a bit ourselves all over BC and if you have any specific preferences and goals for your trip we are happy to discuss additional recommendations. Other things to noteThe tent is offered WITHOUT sleeping bags or bedding. The exception being a mattress cover/fitted sheet which is laundered between guests. Guests must supply thier own bedding and pillows. Household bedding up to queen size works well!Renter is requested to provide their own two inch ball hitch. The ball must be situated at a height of approximately 18 inches from the ground (plus or minus a couple inches is fine). The tow vehicle must all be equipped with a functioning 4 pin connector. We are very much pet people so welcome your pets as long as they are not destructive or messy. While the main storage within the trailer can technically be accessed (carefully) while the tent is deployed, it is highly discouraged. Our recommendation is to use the storage capacity of the trailer to carry gear to and from camp but unload everything that will be needed prior to the setup of the tent. Alternatively the tailgate can be left open and bins can be slid in and out from the back. Opening the main storage area of the trailer MUST NEVER be done with anyone in the tent. The storage area must be closed and fully latched prior to anyone entering the tent. There is no official static weight rating of the mounting of the tent, it has been installed by a reputible shop, and tested by us with a little over 400lbs of occupants in the tent with no indication of nearing a limit. That said, because of our limited testing we can only recommend a maximum of 400lbs, any damage caused by overloading will be the responsibility of the renter. The trailer and tent have pinch points, sharp angles, and springy poles, which may mean this setup is not suitable for all ages. Guests are responsible for determing if the setup is right for their camping party. To ensure safe experiences with wildlife, please store garbage and food items (including the included cooler) in your vehicle, not the trailer/tent.While we do not prohibit the use of the trailer on dirt roads, and understand many of the best campsites are located along them, please only stick to maintained forestry roads and slow down when the road is bumpy. This is not an offroad trailer.
