Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I will do my best to accommodate an early pick up from the airport. I can not guarantee the van will be ready, this depends if someone rented it the night before. I have a large back yard you can wait in or I can drop you off at a coffee shop down the street while you wait for the van to be ready for you. Drop off must be before 11am so I can clean it on time for the next guest. Mahalo
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The back door is is a bit tricky. You need to lean on the left door to open the right. Then there is a lever to open the left door. I will demonstrate this when you pick up the van.
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
There is solar power in the van. Please only plug in a max of two devices at a time and always leave the fridge plugged in. Please stay in the sun during the day to charge the solar so it lasts through the night. The van comes with 5 gallons of clean water and a pump sink. You can refill the clean water and empty the dirty water container as needed during your trip.
